I dont think so, at least not for now. But why people cant be satisfied with 7 versions we have. Isn't it enough?! I'd like bluray too even i dont have it, but lets try to be satisfied with what we have. Most of us have all those versions, so im sure that many cant even have one, so how they feel? That's why i say, keep on ur wishes a bit and by that time, we'll have bluray too .

I don't think its about having different versions, but having an edition in Bluray format, which is different. DVD is one thing and Blu-ray is another. Being a collector, even if I buy a lot of Céline stuff, I don't see the point in having 10 different versions of the concert DVD, but I do understand those who want a blu-ray disc, because its another format, not just another version

The point of Blu-Ray is HD. Of course they should put more bonus inside, cause there are much more space. But we know SONY won't do that. SO at least give it in HD to us.

I saw at Walgreens, an American drug store/mini market that there was, near the caisse, a promo display promoting both TC World tour and Barbra Streisand's One Night Only Album. I was thrilled!

Poor sales numbers wouldn't surprise me. Between not enough Celine originals during the tour, the poor artwork, the lack of information on the back (listing ONLY the DVD was stupid, imo), and cheaply "cutting and pasting" songs from the Boston show into the Montreal show was incredibly lazy. To make matters worse, the promotion wasn't all that great either. ( Would it have killed Sony to release a song from the album to radio as a live track? :sigh: ) Yet again her wannabe team is proving their incompetence.

I wanted to know what's the difference between the Taking Chances Tour Dvd and the Deluxe Edition of Taking Chances. I saw it on-line and wanted to know if anyone has the deluxe edition what it has on it. If I should buy it or not.

^I don't have the deluxe edition but I think the only difference is that you have the concert from Boston or Montréal with it and a huge booklet with pictures and Céline's comment.

All versions of TCWT & TTEOTW were released as NTSC (the only PAL edition I know of is the Thai edition of TTEOTW). All releases are region-free, so they should play fine on your system.

I wanted to know what's the difference between the Taking Chances Tour Dvd and the Deluxe Edition of Taking Chances. I saw it on-line and wanted to know if anyone has the deluxe edition what it has on it. If I should buy it or not.

The TCWT release consists of a DVD and CD of the concert, recorded in Boston and Montreal. This is housed in a CD-style cardboard digipack. There is an English and French version available, with different setlists (the French edition contains more French songs)

The Deluxe Edition contains the TCWT concert DVD, and the TTEOTW documentary DVD. This comes in a hardback book, slightly bigger than a standard DVD case. At the front there is a 50 pages full of photos from around the world, as well as facts about the tour. There are also 5 pull-out postcards. It's a nice package to get if you want the concert and documentay together, but remember this does not contain the concert CD like the TCWT package does.

To be honest with you I wanted them to give us more backstage moments: Make-up, dressing up, the making of the stage..and some more songs as bonus: AWTBI, ANDHC, TT, TJTWIM, IGTMIM and others Well, I thought that after the AND DVD they would've understood what kind of things we wanted to see I'm not deceived by the documentary and DVD at all, but.. You know. Fans want always more

Well, I tweeted Stephane Laporte twice and he still have not replied me. Meanwhile, he tweets like 10 times times a day. I find that rude.

I like it very much, but i was waiting for a new day in seoul, think twice in south africa, Tout l'or des hommes, shadow of love, fade away and specially the ones in french.

 

I know its been almost a year since your post Koolan and u are probably totally over it now, but maybe at that time Stephane was getting a ton of tweets from Celine's fans regarding the DVD's etc and just couldn't answer them all.

Anyway, Today I tweeted with Stephane Laporte about Celine's DVDs in general.

I actually asked him a random question yesterday and he answered me so then i took advantage of the moment to suggest him something regarding futur Celine DVD release. and luckily he answered me back again. Here's my "discussion" with him with English translation following:

Sweet! I really didn't expect a reponse! Thank you, I don't want to bother you with all my tweets but i would like to send - you 3 tweets that I sent to Julie Snyder. Its just a suggestion about the next DVD concert of Celine. - What's missing from the AND... and the TC Concert DVDs are extras/bonus in songs. Songs that Celine removed from the show. - Songs like Thats Just the Woman in Me, Think Twice, Can't Fight the Feelin'. There will be a lot this time as well. - It would be great to record and film those and include them in the extras for the next DVD of the show. That's it, i'm done thanks for reading.

I was talking about the TC concert DVD not the movie, but i didn't want to correct him. although i kind of did for telling him that Can't fight the feelin' is not in any dvd. I have to rewatch it and make sure, but what i meant was to have complete full song that have been cut off from the show. Not just parts of songs mixt with movie parts. I thought it was really nice of him to reply to me about such random stuff.

 

Anyway, this was just one request/suggestion out of probably a million that the fans already told him, but i just wanted to let you know that the message for "more cut off songs as bonus" has been told to the director responsable of Celine's DVDs.

From what I understood, he kept that "Can't Fight the Feeling" is featured in the movie, in the segment during which Celine arrives in Poland.

I don't know though, if he was right or wrong.

Cant fight the feelin is played in through the eyes of the world, its at the point when she is in visiting Poland. Its the taking chances album version tho, not a live version hope that helps

I think it's obvious that most of us just want more of her that we usually don't see. More backstage, more behind the scenes, more intimate moments with her. I always do.

It's been such a long time since I visited this topic, but it's true what Christina says, of course we want as many moments as possible but unfortunately they can't release it all on DVD's.

I thought I would finally upload the full version of "I Drove All Night" with the acapella intro that for some strange reason was cut out of the CD/DVD. So instead of Celine just randomly shouting "is that allright Boston?" it makes more sense! This was made using the audio from Macau included on Celine: Through the Eyes of the World and also some audio from L'histoire de Maman Dion DVD, so it's a mix of 3 shows and isn't absolutely perfect as I'm better working with images than audio, but I think it improves the opening of the show considerably.

I left the start of TPOL at the end so those people who have the show as one seamless concert without fades can edit the show so it all fits together. Big thanks to Timster for helping me out with the audio from Maman Dion's DVD!!

This was the original cover concept, but that was shot down cos of fans disapproval. It was never officially released.

 

And what did we get in the end.... a black cover with Céline wearing a black dress, which isn't even worn in Boston or Montreal and which also makes her fade into the blackness! out of all the thousands of pix they picked that one #worstcoverever
