International Fan Meeting - Premiere Week

Let's make a group photo and a continent photo as some of us will be the only one representing their country

 

I love all of your ideas.

 

I will definetly be there for the dinner/meet and greet before the show and the party after the show

 

I might make this a long trip with mom and two friends from here, with a rental car so I doubt I'll go on the tours with you but I love the idea anyway

We need to come up with a committee for this fan meeting. I worked with Tracy (shesings2me) on a Montréal fan meeting back during the TC tour and our meeting was splendid. As I can tell, there are many devoted people here that are interested in putting this together. Jane, for sure, Bralo, too. Let's start brainstorming and putting this together certainly as far as:

a) Place and time (obviously the day of the concert)

Hotel packages at Caesar's. Wouldn't it be great having a floor of Céline fans?

c) Including everyone that wants to help.

 

 

This is going to be an exciting year for Celine fans. It's a year away. It will fly by!

Stijn: I love the latest card with the flag

I think you have a good idea with taking the photo when we are dressed up for the show.

Maybe we could take the photos at 4pm or 4:30pm and then have dinner at 5pm. If we have dinner at Caesars then it will not be too inconvenient. Just pray for good weather

 

I have spoken to a friend of mine at the Las Vegas Sun about the forum meeting and group photo by the colosseum. She said that they are definately interested in following our story. They may even provide a photographer for the shoot. It's all just a "maybe" for now, but once all the plans are finalized they will give us an answer. She said to me "Jane, as a friend, I must tell you that the story will only make it if this is big enough and well organized enough, so make sure it is." Good advise.

 

I've gotten a few emails from people already. Thank you so much.

I think I will make a spreadsheet, like the one for seat numbers, to show everyone's dates and which events you'd like to attend.

For these ideas:

1 - The pamphlet or poster with the schedule

2 - Country, state, continent and forum signs for photos

3 - Name cards and table numbers for dinner

They're just ideas I have had off the top of my head. We can work on them

Do you have an idea how much a private room will cost to meet & greet, something like a conference room? Maybe Caesar's is willing to provide one for free if we book enough rooms?

 

What poster has to be made?

 

Regarding the namecards/tablenumbers. I can definately make something but first we have to know with how much people we are going to be. A (or several) poster(s) shouldn't be a problem either.

It would be nice if we made KTNV, FOX5 and others

And isn't CTV going to send a crew to cover the premier of their Candian Singer? (although i suppose they will buy the images from local stations in LV)

Maybe a small A4 booklet? Just one page recto verso but divided in 4? Maybe even more pages? Regarding the printing. If necessary, I can print it in the office, I have 2 large color laserjets in my office an I can use another one at our firedepartment (though I have to check the quality of that one). It may be letter format also but I don't have the paper for it It's nice to have some help from Maceta, thx!

I'm not in Vegas but I'll be happy to work with others doing PR stuff, I was in marketing for a while and have some contacts who might be helpful. I'm in Chicago but Vegas is a quick hop for me (flight attendant) for I COULD go out for a day here and there if we needed a face to face.

Vegas is a quick hop... Oh man, that's something that I like about the USA... Distances are nothing over there, here we start crying about a far trip of we need to travel a couple of hundred miles

 

Normally I wouldn't mind flying once in a while to Vegas but due the illness of my father I doubt that I can make it to Vegas this year, although I still hope to get there, even only for a day or so (downside of being a miles junkie).

As for rooms does any of the rooms have a DVD player so that if and when this TCWT DVD come out we have some thing to play while we are there,

 

I also have a another suggestion to, I will be bring a B-day card for Our LOVE CELINE or can some one make one BIGGER would be nice to have everyone sign it before hand so that we could give it to her as well..

Wow, with the media involved it will be an amazing event!! And I think it makes getting Celine to meet us much easier. And OF COURSE we will be well organized! Just look at us, planning everything 13 months ahead and we're doing great!

 

Tracey, you're my assistant in the award commitee so since we're treating the award a bit like Celine's early B-day present, a card signed by all of us will be lovely!

 

Stijn, I really like the lastest design, though I would place the flag somewhere else (maybe between the "name" and "country" or below the name of the country, because it kind of interferes with the "Celine" logo and doesn't look too clear. Just a thought, but it should really look classy

 

And hell yeah, let's make Caesars Palace welcome us!! I hope many of us will be staying there. ANd the idea of Pure or another club playing Celine remixes, plus a "guess the Celine song" quiz - I love those ideas!!
