nystrele Posted February 12, 2010 at 01:31 AM Posted February 12, 2010 at 01:31 AM i have to admit, i'm glad that RC has finally cut his hair. he was looking a bit crystal gayle there for a while! much more handsome little fellow now... oprah was fabulous, as was "a song for you," which i started playing again the morning before oprah after they featured it in TTEOTW, which i saw tuesday evening... boy, it's like a lost treasure from "taking chances." canadian dudes were kind of eye-rolling, but when celine joined them, that song became quite the anthem... i agree with you all; she should make that her own! some of you guys are saying that celine talked too much... i was irritated because i felt like oprah kept interrupting her to keep everything in nice neat soundbites! boy, it's great to have celine back in the media, isn't it... the movie, oprah, the tour announcement, the people cover... i've missed this a lot! (and i've missed my celine cool cats, too. nice to be back on the forum after a little break there). Quote

Lawna Posted February 12, 2010 at 05:58 AM Posted February 12, 2010 at 05:58 AM (edited) Is it just me or does anyone else think that Celine babies RC too much? I mean he had a stuffed animal lamb when he was eight years old and when he lost it, she waited four days for the hotel that threw it out to find it for him? I know it may seem that I'm being rude, but my parents would never do that for me, probably because I wouldn't have a stuffed animal at the age of eight. I don't know, I just found that a bit weird. I was surprised by it, but if it makes him happy...why not? Unless there are scientific studies that show having a baby stuffed lamb is psychologically or physically damaging to the health and well being of a 9 yr old...then I see no problem. But that's just me Ohh just to add...seeing as he probably travels a lot with his mommy...his stuffed lamb is a comfort zone for him, so I can only see it as a positive. nati Posted February 12, 2010 at 06:29 AM Posted February 12, 2010 at 06:29 AM i still sleep witha stuffed dog and doll it's what keeps me calm i've done it since i was a young girl growing up in a hospital you can all laugh i don't care people laugh at me because i'm paying 12 dollars to go see Celine in theaters when i just saw her on tour but you know what these things make me feel safe;when i'm near Celine i feel like no one can hurt me if someone does she'll let her body guards at them. The same thing when i listen to her cd's or watch her Vegas dvd if anybody bugs me during this process they get locked out of the room there my safety blanket. and when i don't have these near or can't have them on i go for my doll or my stuffed dog Quote Thanks Celine for the great memories. I will never forget you

He wasn't used to being around kids his own age often and now that he is and has his own set of friends he's come out of his shell and isn't shy as much.
