It's old news! At the beginning this came out as a project for an Opera album with Kent Nagano! Now what I think is that the "Callas" project is still on and this opera album would be the OST of the movie on Maria. That's why Rene linked the Nagano project with the cinema project. It makes total sense!

 

They just did their 5th attempt for a baby. Maybe we'll know sunday how many the plan to do.

No, your not reading correctly. But its normal even me i had to read it again because i read it too fast the 1st time. There is a double negation...

It says: loosing the baby didn't traumatize (or disrupt) her to the point of giving up the project to have a baby. So basically she will keep trying, and the next attempt is the fifth one.

And about the cinema project... I'm more than glad that she's still talking 'bout it, giving the fact that we read the Callas movie was rumoured to be protagonized by Penélope Cruz. Love Penélope, she's from my homecountry, but nothing could beat Céline making her debut on the big screen.

You're right on Jacqui. That's exactly what I read this morning in my Journal de Montréal. Here is the quote :

"Au moment où ce sera diffusé, ils vont être au cinquième processus engagé (fécondation assistée) et ce sera le dernier. Après ça, ils jettent l'éponge" confie l'animateur.

My translation :

"At the time it will be broadcast, they are going to be in the fifth hired process (assisted conception) and it will be the last. After this, they throw the sponge confides the host." - J. de Mtl, January 15th

 

Now I wonder what this is all about (see this quote also from J. de Mtl this morning) :

"Il y a un sujet qui ne devait pas être abordé et je l'ai essayé quand même. Ils ont parlé de leur avenir d'une façon très claire et je laisse le soin à René de le dire comme il entend le dire". - Michel Jasmin

I can't wait for this interview. Michel Jasmin said he didn't need any of the question he had prepared. They have talked to each other like old friends do, friends that know a lot about each other...for 28 years now. He thinks Céline said things to him that she probably wouldn't have said to another host. They meet for about two and a half hour and we will see one hour and 14 minutes of this. This interview took place because Michel Jasmin called them(Céline and René) wanting to give the biggest gift he could offer to the public. They agreed right away and Michel was very touched about their trust. According to Michel, Céline appeared to him as extremely strong and in full control of the situation. "She's the boss and she took full control of everything and René admitted it" he said. After the interview Michel thought Céline didn't seemed bored at all to be on break and away from the stage but that she will feel the need to come back at some point. RC is in school and she always have something to do. But he thinks if he had done this interview with her three months from now, it would have been a different story according to him.
