Don't think it will get through but it's a fun song. Also Lithuania has a funny song Quote

destin139 Posted May 27, 2010 at 09:20 PM Posted May 27, 2010 at 09:20 PM Love the song from Denmark... totally got stuck in my head now Quote http://i717.photobucket.com/albums/ww171/destin139/Celine2.jpg
Davey84 Posted May 27, 2010 at 09:48 PM Author Posted May 27, 2010 at 09:48 PM Denmark onstage performance was crap again no finals! blah tonight was a lot of ballads, the first night was of crazy acts... maybe she should have been in that one Quote http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v75/daveyh84/incognito198701_zpsaaootxh1.jpgRick, ik hou van jou voor altijd!A New Day... has come 28/29 April & 2/3 May 07Antwerpen 13 et 14 mai,Paris 24 et 25 mai, Amsterdam 2 juinet Arras 7 juillet Chances Taken!!!How Do You Keep The Music Playing? - Celine Opening Night March 15th, March 16th
angelil78 Posted May 27, 2010 at 10:03 PM Posted May 27, 2010 at 10:03 PM yeah I agree, Denmark had a terrible stage performance. It was like the guy really didn't want to be there. I think the Dutch song was way behind it's time. It would have been really popular a decade or two ago. I'm kinda liking it more and more. I can see myself at Octoberfest, sitting on some bench with a beer in each hand, singing to the Dutch song Quote
J-Man Posted May 27, 2010 at 10:58 PM Posted May 27, 2010 at 10:58 PM Really like the Danish track, first time hearing it and I reckon that's the one I'll be backing. She was better than he was though.Congrats to all who got through, surprised Sweden didn't . Really happy that we (ireland) have gotten out of the semi finals after a bad couple of years, but Niamh Kavanagh was struggling with her voice tonight. And it looked like in an effort to make her look slimmer they put her on a box so she looked about 7 feet tall (and she still looked pudgy) But best of luck anyway to us, it's still a good honest song. One I really didn't like was Turkey. It was pants. I'm a bit sorry that Netherlands didn't get through Davey it was one of the few "Eurovision Specials" this year. (Chorus was catchy, verses not good) It's not going to be as whacky a show as it has been before, and I'll miss that fun element on the grand final. fred Posted May 28, 2010 at 10:33 PM Posted May 28, 2010 at 10:33 PM (edited) So Sweden out. Well I think we needed it in a way, our competitions are really weird, we hear the songs thousands of times and then expect the rest of Europe to like them after just one listen. I am just really curious though. I'm listening to the ESC cd all the time and I'm getting very used to the Serbia song. Like I got really used to the dutch song Quote

None of my friends that like ESC are gays. But I know what you mean No! That they both have a unique taste in music, only appreciated by a choosen and worthy few! and also probably that they are all gay....... my top 5 are:DenmarkIcelandIsraelIrelandBelgium Ireland will give points to the UK as we always support each other, we have to stick together no one else ever supports our 2 countries (but it's a poor song from the UK this year, so I don't think it will be more than 8, sorry guys, but I don't agree with giving 12 points just 'cos they're your neighbour) I am holding a Eurovision party tonight, Euro themed costumes, score cards, pizza, European beers, bucks fizz and a prize for the guest who is closest to predicting the winner, hopefully we'll have something to celebrate, but we're just happy that Ireland is at last in with a shot. I'll be private messaging one forum member from each representing country for their votes at about 10:30pm GMT so start making your mind up! angelil78 Posted May 29, 2010 at 04:09 PM Posted May 29, 2010 at 04:09 PM ohhh wouldn't mind going to that Irish Eurovision party!! I am going to have a quiet party with a friend of mine, her newborn twins and her hubby. I can't drink Alcohol anymore (no not an alcoholic haha) so I'm going to the store disadiva is working at (well one of them, don't know the exact store she works at haha) because they have 50% off on Candy on saturdays and buy some chips as well. That will be my Eurovision party. Oh and I mentioned it in the Random topic but the composer for the Azerbaijan song is the same one that wrote Have You Ever Been In Love Quote

mirage Posted May 29, 2010 at 09:58 PM Posted May 29, 2010 at 09:58 PM (edited) Germany gets so many points, but i really dont get why...It's terrible, the way she pronounce the words, i dont know why but it irritates me as hell...and her voice it's like she has a bad cold For me: Iceland, Israel (love the song) Romania, Greece, Ukraine, Georgie, lol i found Slovakia very funny, and Serbia hahah that's Eurovision... The once who are now in the top3 are just random songs who could easily be in a normal chart. They dont have the Eurovision touch for me... Edited May 29, 2010 at 10:04 PM by mirage Quote

fred Posted May 29, 2010 at 10:42 PM Posted May 29, 2010 at 10:42 PM Well I had Germany in my list so I am not that surprised. It wasn't the best but it was good. I am surprised Greece got so many points. But yea, her accent is really weird and the song has a feel to it that makes you feel a bit dizzy, just like the live version of Shadow of Love. I am surprised Israel didn't get higher. Why did so many boo against Israel, when they gave votes and so on? /fred Quote Peace and love to all.
