Who wants the list of scenes in the DVD that was not in the cinema version. I have both the cinema version and the DVD, so I can do a comparison for those of you that want it.

 

What does it mean??? :o I would do anything to see the cinema version just once!!!

Why do you want the cinema version if you have the DVD? The DVD has everthing in the other version and more. You guys will have to give me some time to watch it again and compare it though. I can't rememeber all the detail...

 

I'm gonna do it the same way they did it on the DVD, according to continent. For SA there is only one extra scene:

 

Little kid that welcomes them (and I guess the audience) to SA. Talks about how we are all children of God and some other stuff.

 

Asia (part 1):

 

- The part in Dubai where they discuss what she will wear because of the whole not wanting to show to much skin and what not.

- The part with Ito Yuna

- Full ''Taking Chances'' performance

- Full ''Eyes on Me'' performance

Australia:

 

RC and the other kiddies visits the aquarium. Then back at the hotel he tells Celine about the snake and that he touched it and stuff.

 

Asia (part 2):

 

- Yang Lan talks about Celine and the show some footage of Celine on Yang's talk show.

- They show some footage of Rene meeting the king and queen of Malaysia and some scenes with Celine while ''Shadow of Love'' plays in the background.

- Full performance of ''All By Myself''.

 

Europe:

 

- Celine trying on the new dresses for ''My Heart Will Go On''.

- The part with Rene and his bowling shoes.

- Celine and Rene on the boat with ''Your Song'' playing in the background.

- Interview with Celine on ''This Morning''.

- Scene at ''Pizza Express'' with RC playing with the phone.

- Full performance of ''Alone''.

- Fan talks about seeing Celine in 1998 and that he thinks she is still pretty after 10 years (while she signed stuff at the hotel).

- Celine's bleeding finger during ''Ziggy''. :sofunny:

- The DVD includes Celine's speech when she received that medal thingy in France, while it is not on the cinema version.

- Part of ''J'irai Où Tu Iras'' with some behind the scenes stuff.

- Rene shows us the hotel where he and Celine first kissed.

- Celine at Croke part with the crowd singing the last line of '' Because You Loved Me''.

- They show Celine getting of the boat in Amsterdam and giving the captain a gift.

- S'il Suffisait D'aimer is complete on the DVD with the last part in Montreal (cinema version only contains a part of it).

Because TPOL in the movie is "live" and I HATE those full Monston performances :down:

did anyone else notice that when she was in brisbine onstage she had a bandaid on her hand between her thumb and index finger? somehow it matched her skin pretty well.

 

and in the part when they were in london and they went into the pizza place, nick must have been starving because by the time rene, rc and celine got to the door he was gone! i also wonder if him and michael were seated with celine and the rest of the family...he also seems to really love rc...i know he has been celines body guard for a very long time and with them when rc was a baby.

Didn't you know that that was the real reason they postponed the shows. She had a paper cut... no, I'm only kidding. She was really sick.

 

Here is the rest:

 

America:

 

- Aaron with the doctor bacstage after he hurt himself.

- The new dancer rehearsing.

- Full performance of ''My Love'' (the cinema version only has the last part from the big note onwards).

- The part with Charice (the whole speech and the last part of ''Because You Loved Me'').

- Celine trying to psych RC out after the show at the hotel.

- First visit to the doctor: The doctor prodded her neck and asked her if it hurts.

- First show back after being sick. They show Celine in her dressing room with the face mask of the nebulizer and Michel asks her how she is feeling. Also show some scenes backstage with band and crew and then the last part of ''Love Can Move Mountains''.

- The screen thingy that got stuck in L.A.

 

So as you guys can see there are loads of stuff in the DVD that was not in the cinema version. It is not just full songs.

oh i so wish they had shown Celine singing 'ticket to ride' in full ...............i majorly heart this song lol

They would have to pay royalties if they showed the full song and you know they wouldn't want to do that. -_-

 

So you mean they added the verse and chorus that were missing in the shortened songs of the 2 Hours version, and added extra songs from that Monston DVD? great! I love that extra hour! :giggle:

 

I wish people would stop saying the full songs are making up the extra hour, because you are WRONG! I've seen some videos on YouTube and there are TONS of extra scenes that weren't in the cinema version! Stop complaining - we're letting lots of extras in this third hour!

True. Some clips from the promo dvd were not in the cinema version too.

I prayed for the cinema version to be released! It has the IDAN intro, the "live" TPOL... Please Claudette :cry:

I just checked it again the intro is definitely exactly the same. The full version is not on the DVD nor on the cinema version. The cinema version has nothing that the DVD doesn't have.

 

Edit: Guys as much as I want to, I really really can't. If the guy that gave me this finds out he would kill me. I was not even suppose to say anything, but you guys kept on talking about the fact that there is not really any extra footage on the DVD, so I thought I could at least point out the differences.

I think TPOL is the live version on the concert album (but I'm not 100% sure, because the end note sounds pretty much the same to me).

 

She said IDAN once in the cinema version too.

 

I don't have TSMGO from the end of the movie.
