Finally, maybe this has already been noticed but since i've been away of this topic I wouldn't know....the one thing that came to my mind when i opened the booklet was: the Handwritting Font (now we can all type like her topic) ...i may be crazy but you can see for yourself:

Damn, I would love to see the US commercial. We never get any ads for Celine here! The last time was for the tour!

I think it's hilarious how Celine notices the bleeding on her finger and then as she continues singing she keeps waving her hand all over the place anyway!!
well I think she was waving her hand so it would be noticed that she was bleeding and someone would bring her something to clean it up

You still clearly see it though. I actually said in the other topic that if I was sitting close to the front I would have gotten up and gave her a band aid.

I would have stripped down to hand her something to clean it up :sofunny: :blushing1:

I finally own it! :clap: I'm so excited!!

I went to Best Buy to get it, but ended up getting it from walmart instead. I wanted the hard cover on it! lol. Since there is no hard cover on my Vegas dvd, it's getting a little worn out So I figured I'd be safe with this one

Though I posted this in the complaint and venting thread, I think it fits here too because its an objective fact and I would like to know what you all think of it

I've only seen half of the DVD (1H 20M aprox) tonight (I don't want to spoil all the fun at one time), but without having seen the rest of the DVD I can tell you that I really miss more behind the scenes moments from what they did during her spare time. We have plenty of those moments, yes, but I have to tell that I feel angry about the fact that they included full videos of the same Boston performances we already have in the Boston DVD! I feel so pissed off about that! :angry2: If only they have included different performances of those songs, but my gosh, the same ones as the concert DVD? What the hell? They are supposed to have more than 1,000 hours of material!! :angry2:

So, how many brand new material do we really have here? If we remove the performances we already have in the english concert, how long is the movie? 2h 30? 2 hours? :ermm:

Other than that, the DVD is great and I am so happy with this release again. The insight they give us of Céline and her entourage is priceless, not many fans can have this from their favourite artist :in_love: . But I can't overlook the fact that some of the footage is the same we already have in another DVD! :angry:

And I think that for whatever reason, this is going to be the main complaint from fans about the movie. We've been complaining and saying nosense and stupid critics during months about this release, but this time honestly I think we are right with this point guys. We don't deserve to have the same repeated material in both releases when they know we want and will buy both -_- .

Could someone please answer these questions for me: Does Celine: Through the Eyes of the World DVD carry full lenght songs from the Taking Chances World Tour or is it just footages? If not, then what consists of the 3-hour DVD? I appreciate your response. Thanks in advance...

It does have full performances from the concert dvd. They include these performances in the "bonus" hour

There's extra behind the scenes footage, but not a full hour of it as one might think- the performances count toward the bonus as well. Edited May 11, 2010 at 11:56 PM by ladylindsey

Ah!, so is that the difference with the version you had in theaters? The two hour theater version consisted only of the behind the scenes and not the full performances right?

Then its a shame they've done that with the so fanfared promised "additional-hour-of-never-before-seen-footage" :glare: :glare: Indeed we have seen it, in the Concert DVD you released the week before! :glare:

The theater version had full performances, but not of as many songs. :/ They added in a few more performances we didn't see in theaters but that are on the concert dvd.

I live in small town Illinois at present, I went to our little Wal-Mart and BAM- they had the hardcover of TTEOTW but didn't have the CD/ DVD. I was okay with that, since I had the Montreal concert fresh in my memory. It wasn't enough for me, I had to go back and check everywhere to see if perhaps I missed it. Sure enough, they put it out later in the day! They only had 2 copies of each. I can't wait!

PS-The menu to TTEOTW is so dramatic!

That's another cover in fact, not an original song for Céline The original song was written and performed by Eric Carmen back in the 70's

I don't know why i just thought of this but as much as I dislike the full performances as added "bonus", i would keep them IF they put in footage from other countries of that song as well as TT, TJTWIM, IGTMIM, etc.

On the PLUS side..we get alot more concert dvd performances in blu ray! Hopefully they will release the full show in blu ray but maybe not since we get along of the songs on blu ray already on the documentary...sneaky sneaky! They would probably use that as an excuse not to convert the entire show to blu ray since we got alot of them on the doc. Can anyone list the full additional songs in the documentary that were used from the concert dvds?

I agree! I mean, it is kind of disappointing that the footage from the concert is considered the 'bonus' hour, but there were some really great moments added in!

I loved when Rene-Charles is telling Celine about touching the snake, Rene's bright blue Prada 'bowling' shoes, eating at Pizza Express . . . I could go on!

I really just love the whole thing. With Celine, I'll take anything and everything I can get lol :-D
