Yes, finally we won't have to hear the nonfrancophones complain of no subtitles! lol I listened to the release today and am VERY impressed. THE GOOD---I can tell that it has been remastered. It sounds beautiful, crisp, and fresh. I've heard things that I never heard in the 15 years of having the album! It's fantastic. The package is absolutely beautiful, and on photopaper. It's cool to see the fuller photo of the album cover (though it's petite). There are GREAT liner notes that were fun and had information we'd not heard before. THE BAD---As someone said in the French form, it appears that the lyrics pages were a photocopy from the CD liner notes of the original release. There's a bubbly appearance to some of the photos (unlike the regular release). You think they could have done a better job with that, but if you already have D'EUX it's all the same. The new stuff, however, impeccables images. THE DEMOS---WOW~ What an absolute treat! I feel special listening to these tracks. It's cool to hear her first interpretations of the song and hear the original lyrics that were changed. I want more stuff like this! We know it's in the vaults. I absolutely LOVE the demo versions of "Le ballet" and "Pour que tu m'aimes encore," but find the demo of "J'irai ou tu iras" to be a bit laughable (in a good way). It sounds almost like a bad 80s song with 80s synth keyboards. The final version is MUCH better. With that said my favorite demo has GOT to be "Le ballet." I am glad we finally have the instrumental (playback) tracks for "Pour que tu m'aimes encore" and "Vole" on an actual album and not a CD-single. However, I would have liked to have had at least one more instrumental track, preferably "Destin" or "Je sais pas." I do agree it is disappointing to see the quality, or lack thereof, in the photos. A release like this deserved much better care and attention to detail in regards to its photography. It's one of the reasons the album is so great. It gives a totally different feel to it than if it were to have been in full-blown colour. With that said, as one other member mentioned I was very happy to see the cover photograph in its entirety finally. I never realized the outfit she was wearing was a suit that wasn't black. Very interesting. I haven't watched the DVD yet, but I am looking forward to seeing it. Even if all the tracks are lipped or dubbed over it will be nice to see something "new" of Celine's. All-in-all, I am happy with this release. Here's to hoping for more of this quality (minus the photography quality) with some of Celine's English releases (ex. Unison, Falling Into You, Let's Talk About Love, One Heart, etc.). Nicely done, Sony/Columbia/Epic. - Joe Quote

THANK YOU, SONY/COLUMBIA, FOR PUTTING ENGLISH SUB-TITLES! With that out of the way I have to say that I enjoyed the TV special, but found the lip-synching to be a let down. At times it was painfully obvious songs were being lipped. (Ex. Jean-Jacques Goldman not "singing" into the microphone, yet sound is coming out. The "delay" in the guitar intro for "J'irai ou tu iras.") The positives are that Celine was VERY much herself. I found it enjoyable to see her messing around with Jean-Jacques and not taking herself serious at all. All-in-all, I'm glad I purchased the item. I may be writing a letter to Sony to thank them for releasing the item. Hopefully it will spark them to do the same for other albums of Celine's (Incognito, Unison, 1 Fille & 4 Types, A New Day Has Come, etc.). ...Joe... Quote
