I can say about my favourite live performances of given songs : BYLM - Memphis. She was so connected with audience and also everything was well technically. MHWGO - definitely Oscars. I think it was performance of her life. And the strongest and longest last note she's ever done. I don't like that much WCD performance, she sang amazingly high notes but not stanzas and choruses. TPOL - Sonia Benezra. She ang so powerful and so effortless. And also, the best long note she's ever done. TPOTD - Brunei. The best long note. LMEE - definitely Live for the Victims. It could be also the best performance of her career for me. ML - Oprah RDMH - Phoenix, Taking Chances Tour, Bb5 TC - Early Show TTWII - Early Show WDMHBN - Unison concert CHFILWY - TCOML concert ABM - Billboard Awards. I also like Australia FIY Tour and Montreal FIY Tour. TT - Live for Peace I also love the only one whole performance of IDAN (Today Show) and With This Tear from Tonight Show. I think it's one of, if not the greatest performance of her career. Just the sheer power and emotion that she gave was chilling and mesmorising. Also, the ceremony was the most watched Oscars telecast in history with nearly a billion people tuning in across the globe. Titanic ruled the night and Celine's performance was perfection. My other favorite is ABM at the 1997 Grammy's. She gave it her all and deserved the award for Album of the Year. I loved the speech she made and Rene was so proud of her in the audience. Not because "The power of the dream" is my favorite song, but because that performance opened her up to an international platform. A very important performance in her career. Another extremly relevant and powerful performance in her career would be the Juno performance of "Have a Heart" so important to her English breakthrough. It gives me chills every time...and I have it as my text message alert so I hear it a lot. She sang it beautifully and I was dead center front row for this performance so everytime I hear it, it brings me back to that day. Umm...also J'attendais during Live A Pairs. Je Sais Pas and L'amour existe encore during the August montreal shows. I Can't Help Falling in Love With You performed in Las Vegas for an Elvis special. I love most of the performances from the millinium concert because she had such emotion. My Love from TCWT made me cry like a baby every time I heard it...even still listening to bootlegs. Anything Celine and acapella is yummy to me. Wow. The slow version of A New Day Has Come from AND. I could probably go on forever...all of her live performances give me goosebumps lol. Both excellent renditions of the song, particularly at World Children's Day in my opinion. Another "significant" performance in Celine's career in my opinion would be at the original VH1 Divas Concert. Celine was flawless on the night and her performance during "Natural Woman" showed everyone present and watching at home that she was the real star of the show.
