August 10,1992 Deer Creek Music Center, Indianapolis

August 12,1992 The Capital Centre, Washington

August 13,1992 Star Lake Amphitheatre, Pittsburgh

The sources are various newspaper archives and Passion Celine Dion.

I'm in doubt about the shows in red.

According to some US newspapers, she was scheduled to open 18 shows for Michael Bolton.

According to La Presse, she opened 16 shows and the last one was in Indianapolis.

I read an article announcing the show in Washington with Celine as the opening act.

According to Passion Celine Dion she also sang in Pittsburgh, but the show in Washington isn't included. The date isn't the same (August 11), but according to the news and the boxscores it took place on August 13.

I think the concerts in Trois-Rivières, Montreal and Gatineau were free and they weren't full concerts.

The source for the Ottawa dates is Pasion Celine Dion.

November 23, 1992 Capitole Theatre, Quebec City (Quebec, Canada)

November 24, 1992 Capitole Theatre, Quebec City (Quebec, Canada)

December 19, 1992 Salle François-Brassard, Jonquiere (Quebec, Canada)

December 22, 1992 Centre des Arts, Shawinigan (Quebec, Canada)

The source for the Dec. 12th - Dec. 22nd concerts is Passion Celine Dion.

1993

January 15, 1993 Capitole Theatre, Quebec City (Quebec, Canada)

January 16, 1993 Capitole Theatre, Quebec City (Quebec, Canada)

January 17, 1993 Capitole Theatre, Quebec City (Quebec, Canada)

March 2, 1993 Capitole Theatre, Quebec City (Quebec, Canada)

March 5, 1993 Capitole Theatre, Quebec City (Quebec, Canada)

March 6, 1993 Capitole Theatre, Quebec City (Quebec, Canada)

March 7, 1993 Capitole Theatre, Quebec City (Quebec, Canada)

March 9, 1993 Capitole Theatre, Quebec City (Quebec, Canada)

March 10, 1993 Capitole Theatre, Quebec City (Quebec, Canada)

Anthony Kavanagh was the opening act.

The Canadian tour started on March 23, 1993 in London, Ontario. According to some newspapers, it was a 28-date tour.

The 75,000 tickets that went on sale were sold in 5 hours.

March 23, 1993 Alumni Hall (?), London (Ontario, Canada)

March 25, 1993 Massey Hall, Toronto (Ontario, Canada)

March 27, 1993 Hamilton Place, Hamilton (Ontario, Canada)

April 2, 1993 Montreal Forum, Montreal (Quebec, Canada)

April 3, 1993 Montreal Forum, Montreal (Quebec, Canada)

April 4, 1993 Montreal Forum, Montreal (Quebec, Canada)

April 6, 1993 Montreal Forum, Montreal (Quebec, Canada)

April 7, 1993 Montreal Forum, Montreal (Quebec, Canada)

According to Passion Celine Dion, she also gave a concert on April 9, 1993 at the Capitole, but I couldn't find any news announcing this show.

April 11, 1993 Jubilee Auditorium, Edmonton

April 12, 1993 Jack Singer Hall, Calgary

April 14, 1993 Queen Elizabeth Theatre, Vancouver

April 17, 1993 Walker Theatre, Winnipeg

April 25, 1993 National Arts Centre, Ottawa

According to the Thunder Bay Community Auditorium's website (link) she gave a concert there.

According to this file, she sang at the Grand Theatre in Sudbury.

They don't mention the dates but I think both could be part of this tour because they are small theatres.

She was supposed to sing in Campbellton and Caraquet (New Brunswick) but the concerts were cancelled because of Karine's death. DKD said they would be rescheduled later that summer.

May 7, 1993 Moncton Coliseum, Moncton (New Brunswick, Canada)

May 8, 1993 Aitken Centre, Fredericton (New Brunswick, Canada)

May 9, 1993 Metro Centre, Halifax (Nova Scotia, Canada)

May 11, 1993 Memorial Stadium (?), St. John's (Newfoundland, Canada)

Lennie Gallant and his band were the opening act for the Atlantic Canada dates.

September 7, 1993 Capitole Theatre, Quebec City (Quebec, Canada)

September 8, 1993 Capitole Theatre, Quebec City (Quebec, Canada)

There was a concert scheduled for September 5 but it was postponed until November 21... but wasn't she in Eurodisney that day? Was it taped?

She gave 4 concerts more in September which she had to postpone after Karine's death.

According to Le Soleil (November 17, 1993), Celine gave 17 concerts at The Capitole since its opening in November 1992 with an average of 1,300 tickets sold per show (the full capacity is 1,312). She was the most profitable act for the venue.

It means that either she did give a concert on April 9 or the show of Sept. 5 was rescheduled for an earlier date than Nov. 21. Or they took into account the Nov. 23 show (providing that she didn't give the other shows).

November 23, 1993 Capitole Theatre, Quebec City (Quebec, Canada)

There are some shows missing. I think only people from Canada can help to find the missing dates, especially if they know fans who attended the concerts or have access to newspaper archives where the concerts were announced/reviewed.

Hi Leo!

First of all, thank you so much for letting us know much more than we knew about Céline's concert dates. You're so kind for posting your knowledge here... thanks!

Second... I'd love to know the exact date when she came and performed in Seville (Sevilla in Spanish) as part of the 1992 Universal Exposition celebrations that were held in Seville back then. I think the venue was the Olympic Stadium of the city but I'm not sure...

Maybe you know where to search for that? She sang about 3-4 songs -one of them being IYAMT- so it wasn't part of any tour, but she still performed.

Thrid: I wasn't a fan back then, plus, I was a kid (4 years) so I couldn't had gone although Seville is bordering with Córdoba (where I live), so I wouldn't be able to remember anything and I've always felt a bit sad 'bout this... thanks in advance!

She was definitely in NJ for that tour (Garden St. Arts Center, now PNC). I remember seeing the ad in the Star Ledger newspaper. My parents wouldn't take me (I was 10 at the time) because they refused to pay money to see Michael Bolton .. haha

Great to see all this info, thanks!

I have some questions:

1. Do you know anything about the set list?

2. Do you know anything about the fall of 1992 tour in Australia, Europe and Japan?

3. I've read that Dion gave 25 concerts with Michael Bolton. Few concerts must be missing still...

Any audios or videos from this tour?

A small clip of her duet with MB :

She wore that outfit in several concerts...

I think this show was not part of her tour, ( There were many artist invited and I think it was a free show)

She also sung "Love can move mountains") but it was during the dates she was performing...

It was called " Au rytheme des Ameriques" I think it was for the anniversary of Montreal...I dunno

She is wearing the same outfit here as well:

Gracias :thumbsup2:

It was on July 1, 1992 (Canada day). She performed at the Canadian Pavilion. Here's a pic of the place (I think). She was invited to participate in the Canada Day festivities as part of the Expo 92 in Seville.

According to the unauthorized biography "Rene Angelil: The Making of Celine Dion" (by Jean Beaunoyer), she sang a few songs from her English album, a few songs in French and an aria from the opera Carmen. You can read the chapter here.

But I read that Radio Canada would broadcast only two songs. One of them is "If You Asked Me To" (

). One of the users who posted said he was there.

This is from the official biography (link).

Here's a short video of her taking about the Canadian unity.

That's all I know.

Great to see all this info, thanks!

I have some questions:

1. Do you know anything about the set list?

Here's a review of the concert at the Walker Theatre (April 17, 1993)

She sang 15 songs. So, the set list must have included the 10 songs from the list posted on wikipedia and "Can't Help Falling In Love", "(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman" and two more songs from "Dion chante Plamondon".

According to the review for the Hamilton show, there were 13 songs in the set.

2. Do you know anything about the fall of 1992 tour in Australia, Europe and Japan?

I don't think there was a concert tour in Australia, Europe and Japan in 1992. IMO, it was a promotional tour (interviews, TV appearances...)

3. I've read that Dion gave 25 concerts with Michael Bolton. Few concerts must be missing still...

According to the official biography, she opened 25 concerts for Michael Bolton but I don't know if it's right. There are some mistakes on that book. Some newspapers reported that she was opening 18 concerts for Michael Bolton that summer (link).

Leo, you're simply the best Céline Dion informer I've ever had the chance to talk to! You would be searching throughout the entire web to find anything! Congratulations guy!

And of course a giant Thank You So Very Much for all the info and videos!

I'm sure that Céline herself remembers less things than you know or could search for.

About the info... Interesting to read why she never came back to Spain again!... lol j/k

But shocking too that she sang so many songs, I should have heard her from my city singing out loud... that's why I became a fan although it was just 5 years ago... Now I know... el subconsciente! jaja

Muchísimas gracias! :flowers2:

:bye1:

P.S.: Post all the info in the Spanish section whenever you want! :D "Curiosidades y dudas sin resolver sobre Céline Dion" I guess would be the right place... or maybe create a new topic.

Leo,

I have updated Wikipedia with your informations, thanks so much.

Do you know maybe any box scores from this tour?

Posted
I was reading wikipedia page TCOML tour few days ago and it said tour had 96 shows. Then it said tour had 100 shows, with counting David Foster's concert. Then it said again tour had 96 shows. Now it says tour had 100 shows. What's wrong with wikipedia  ? IMO, it should be without David Foster's concerts because they weren't part of Celine's tour. It was David's concerts, not Celine's concerts. She was only guest there, she sang only TPOL, BATB with Peabo and final songs with others guests.

But I don't know if Celine opened that concert.

We'll have to wait till google uploads more Billboard issues...

I agree, she didn't give a full concert. That's why I didn't post it with the 1994 dates on TCOML tour thread. Anyway, it's worth mentioning these dates.

weird, I had no idea she toured with Michael Bolton. My mom mentioned she saw her with him way back when (she described Celine's hair at the time and I estimated about 1992-1993) and now all of a sudden this pops up lol

1992

August 15, 1992 Montréal au rythme des Amériques - Parc des Iles, Montreal (Quebec, Canada)

From cd.com about this date:

Did You Know?

August 25 , 2009

In August 1992, in front of more than 45, 000 people, Celine took part in a historic concert at Le Parc des Iles on Ste-Hélène island to celebrate the 350th anniversary of Montréal. Celine performed duets with Aaron Neville, Peabo Bryson and The Atlanta Super Choir in a concert that was later aired on the CBC's "Les Beaux Dimanches". That same year, Celine would go on to sell more than 2 million copies of her celebrated album 'Celine Dion'.

Wow she played Seaworld in San Antonio.. The only people who play there are not singers like Celine who are so big, so its weird to hear that but it was early in her career so I understand. I was only 4 but i wish i could have gone..
