I finally had time to go through the whole book, so I thought I'll share some of my favourites:

 

p5 - She looks absolutely stunning!

p20 - This picture just captures all Celine's qualities... everything that makes her the woman she is! Brilliant photograph!

p38 - This photo just took my breath away the first time I saw it. :wub:

p56-57 - Celine looks so powerful in this picture.

p136 - HOT!

p138 - She really does look so fragile here...

p148 - Brilliant skills from Gérard! Can someone please explain to me how the heck Celine can jump with that heels?

p61 - :in_love:

p199 - :lmao: If the singing thing doesn't work out she can always make that her career...

p207 - She trained him very well.

p210 - 211 - Just love this picture. :wub:

p216 - :sofunny:

p225 - So sweet!

p258-259 - Celine jumping off the walls... :sofunny:

p301 - Cute cute cute! :in_love:

p304 - I'm kind of surprised to see these pictures (and the ones on p349) in the book. I don't think many other artists would have included pictures like that in their tourbooks. These photos are great because they show that not everything is always fun and games and that Celine can also get sick like the rest of us.

Top right picture on p304 - :lmao: No offence Celine, but I don't think you would make a good doctor; you are way to emotional for that...

I dont think this book is coming out in english this month as fanny said a few posts back, or else we would have had some news by now. its the 6th of jan, there is no way without any news by now that the book can come out this month. Fanny do you have any more news? Us english speakign fans have waited long enough now for this, we wanted it for christmas but settled for it a little late, but where the hell is it? Sorry im getting annoyed but this is really stupid!

I know it's getting stupid now! Can anyone contact Gerard and ask him when it's being released? As far as I'm concerned nothing is being done for us English speaking fans with this book. At least The Eyes of The World isn't been shown in France, otherwise they'd be getting way too much out of an English tour! :evil:

IF its being released in english it wouldn't surprise me if they're going to wait and release it with the dvd. Maximum publicity.

what is happening with the english book? We were told january and now in january the updates have stopped, i hope we hear somethign soon :) Fanny can you ask gerrard?

Unfortunately, we learned today that the english version of the book will not be available anytime soon. The change of plans is linked to the release of the DVD of the tour (we heard it might be available around May).

 

Sorry for all the english-speaking fans who are expecting the book and who will have to keep waiting... this is not was originally planned. ;)

Again I agree the english fans shouldn't be made to wait for this book when its been out since September in France. I just knew that something was going to come up and the book wouldn't be out when they said it would. :ermm:

 

Heck the majority of the fans in the US may not even see Through the eyes of the world if they are only showing it eight times and they chose to only show it in certain cities. :glare:

The "big hold up" was the choice of the book edition for the english version. In France the choice was made early and quickly, but apparently there were more negociations going on for the US.

 

If the author had been english, I am pretty sure we french fans would have had to wait as well, for the very same reason. So really, it is not because french fans are more priviledged that you guys. ;)

 

Now there are other reasons why the release is being delayed, but we are not allowed to reveal them yet.

I've been patiently waiting to hear of the English release, but finally went ahead and ordered Autour du Monde from Amazon.fr and I'm really glad I did. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but this book is worth a million! If you know even a little bit of French, you will probably be able to understand most of the captions, and the pictures are fantastic. I love seeing everything that goes on behind the scenes, and I received the book very quickly. I love it...even if there aren't any pictures from the Indianapolis concert...that's the one I got to go to, but I guess they couldn't include every stop. If you're tired of waiting, I think you'll still enjoy this version. :yes:
