Shania said she hasn't thought about anything regarding the show creatively, but that she will begin that process now. She also mentioned that she will make sure to leave enough "wiggle room" for when new material is released so it can get added to her show. (I think Celine's team should take note of that one, but I digress.) She stated she is very confident in her voice and that she can't wait to get started. Tickets go on sale via an American Express pre-sale tonight with information about the pre-sale being conveyed during the CMT Awards tonight. The general public tickets will go on sale Sunday, June 19th at 10:00AM. Ticket prices will be between $55-$250/person. Shania's new song, "Today Is Your Day," will premiere on iTunes this coming Sunday, June 12th. I'm so excited! Now this DOES impress me much! Quote

I like Shania´s idea that it´s only for two years and 60 shows for year. I think it will be very succesfull show, I would like to see also Shania´s show, but it´s not very possible she will perform in the same time as Céline. Shania has always seemed like much more of a true "artist" than Celine. I love Celine, don't get me wrong, but Shania has always seemed to take more risks in regards to her material and not cave to what her "team" tell her. She does what she wants, how she wants it. (We've already seen what happens when, God-forbid, Celine wants to put "My Heart Will Go On" as the first song in a show.) Shania also covers a much wider array of material than Celine does. Songs such as "Ka-Ching!," "What A Way To Wanna Be!," "That Don't Impress Me Much," "I Ain't No Quitter," "Shoes," "I'm Jealous" and "God Ain't Gonna Getcha For That" are prime examples of her versatility as a singer-songwriter. Plus, the fact that Shania has openly stated that she will make it a priority to create a show in which new material can seamlessly be inserted at future dates is much more than Celine has ever done. (At least post-2000.) After having seen "Celine" and having watched the press conference on Wednesday, I can say, without a doubt, I have more faith in "Still The One" than I do now about "Celine."
