The song sounds WAY BETTER in japanese to me. The key is lower in the verses. Sounds way more confortable!

Yes! Just received it! In an amzingly big enveloppe :rofl:

 

I'm now listening to the Japanese version, and I think Céline sounds so great in the lower key! :clap: Her Japanese prononcation, as mentioned earlier, has improved since Be The Man.

In fact I like this version more than the original Taking Chances version, and lots and lots better then the duet :ermm: I'm glad I did order it, it's amazing!!

 

BTW, did I mention yet that the cd itself looks great :o purple with beautiful surrounding by white and silver. Great creation!! And even a booklet in a single, wouldn't you just love the Japanese :w00t:

Well the Japanese kind of deserve something Celine as they are not getting the new GH album as they've already had Complete Best this year and the Ultimate Box! I think it's nice how they've included the new songs from the album for the people in Japan :wub: They also got Taking Chances with the 2 Bonus tracks which I bought from a HMV store in Tokyo in August :D

 

Sony Music Japan must be a million times better than Sony for the rest of the world if they can do things like this! :clap:

yahooooo just got my copy too!!!

it's perfect... the whole thing... the japanese version (completely different from the other one- the lyrics), even the cd as someone said before... very cute! and plus 'there comes a time' in cd quality... and they sent it very fast... :o

I'm having awful trouble buying the AWTBI single. I click checkout once I've selected it and when it asks me to log the connection goes and I can't get any further than logging in! :nono:

 

Also on HMV.com (UK) I've been trying to pre-order the new alum, and the same thing happens. It's really slow and when I clicked confirm order it just said my connection had timed out! :angry2: I tried 6 times with no success so I hope they haven't taken money out of my acpount for something I haven't even been able order! :down:

 

 

I think I'll preorder the album from Amazon instead, but I don't know what to do about AWTBI... :confused: :down:

 

 

P.S. My internet is fine with everything else so I know it's not my problem...

OMG I LOVE THIS VERSION! :clap:

 

It's beautiful. She sounds like a completely different person in Japanese! I love the echo-ey effects they put on her voice - it's sounds great! :D

 

I think that near the end it sounds like she's struggling a bit, but the rest of the song sounds way more comfortable in the lightly lower key ... :wub:

This version is FAN-FREAKING-TASTIC! It's unbelievably better than the English version! Her voice is lower, and it sounds like she's putting much feeling into it. I'm changing my opinion slightly. She's definitely straining herself at parts. She's singing much too high, and while I love her high notes, it's almost like she's just screaming at the top of her lungs to get them out. Still love the song though!

It's too much change of Celine voice, it's like done with "I Got Nothin' Left",

and I dissapoint a bit, because not with big changes, it could be a really great one. Now it's noly close.

AARGH!!! I'm still waiting for my copy!!! I ordered the sucker in September... HMV shipped it... according to their tracking service, its in San Francisco right now so I bet it won't be here till at least Monday :down: I wanna hear the Japanese version now!! :cry:

She sounded great but it sounded quite boring though compared to the original version but good job Celine. Really think she loved this song very much.

It's the best version better than album's version and far far far better from the duet:)

I love the way she sounds and the way the song is changed in sense of melody
