I'm going to have to go back through all of Toms old showcase posts now to try and prepare myself. He has posted some seriously good stuff in the past.

Would it be from around 1990 perhaps?

 

Nope! though I have a very special item from that year that I received some days ago too... Something that you all love, I'm sure. I would like to share it with this forum, but only when I fix my PC . Its something I would have to upload, and its not just a picture (though there are many brand new ones in it!)

I don't normally buy fake items and this kind of chinese releases, but when I saw this boxset with this picture cover, the nice tracklist selection, and the blue-spec audio quality, couldn't resist it :in_love:

I love the album There are nice songs on it. For example "Je viendrai à Montréal" which i know because of Celine

Julian the Rene Simard CD is gorgeous, it is hard to come by isn't it? Just like Marc Dupre's! I like the digipak design of it. I take it there are no pictures of Celine in the booklet?

What about " Celine Dion Chante Noël " cassette ? Are we sure this lp wasn't recorded on tape too or it's just that because none of us could find it?

I think so too I think this album was never released on cassette, as LVDBD, but who knows, maybe it just happened the same as with the vinyl version, that had a small pressing compared to the LVDBD LP, so maybe the cassette version had even a more limited pressing

This particular edition has the booklet printed in glossy paper, apart from the unique blue and red disc

You should be ashamed of yourself. Robbing that poor seller like that. Well done. Although why they ever put a blue disc with red writing instead of the more appropriate regular colouring I'll never know. Is it just the pictures or does your look much more translucent than those I have seen before. Davey, you have thos don't you?

 

 

I seriously doubt they ever released Chante Noel on cassette. I don't think anyone here has ever seen it. It would be understandable that for such a minor release it was only ever pressed in vinyl. I do believe that there is a Plus Grand Success in MC though, so I'd like to get that to complete that particular collection.

yeah I got that one too! I got it for 5 dollars or something...

 

My guess is that both LPs have cassettes, but both are very rare. I dunno what the collectors list says about it!

I know! What's the benefit of selling a raritie like this for $0,20, only the seller knows!

 

The translucent effect is just the flash of the camera I think. But the red Celine logo looks nice to me!

Nope, not yet . The rare item is on its way now (hopefully!) and the even rarer-than-rare one, that's something I can't share for the moment, because the video card of my PC is broken

 

Hmm I don't want to create any kind of expectation with that "rare" item, maybe when you see it you'll think "bahhh, you call that rare?" But well I do believe it is. At least I have only seen Hilda to have it and I've only seen it once listed in eBay in 7 years!
