Also, Celine is making the money from the tour, so this CD helped sony to make some money off of the tour (Celine only gets some cents per album). They'd promote it alongside of the tour and make some extra cash. Although they haven't really promoted it..... I don't think she'll leave Sony, sorry to say. I'm okay if she does though after this. They really favor certain artists and with any other project, like My Love, they seem to just rush through, do a poor job, not promote, and get it done as fast as they can. I've stuck up for Sony before but this is a mess. She deserves more respect as an artist and as a person. They just treat her as an opportunity to make some extra cash when the time is right. They need people in there that aren't biased against certain artists, and will treat each artist with the same amount of respect and attention. This should have been done on Legacy Recordings over Columbia. They're used to releasing the GH cds and would have at least given a little bit more attention to this cd and not miss a silly mistake like spelling. They have people hired JUST to proofread. What an embarassment. Does anyone else think the audience in ML sounds fake? Like one of the sound boxes they use for tv shows? hah what a mess. Yeah, Sony fired Vito, but he is still the co-executive producer of this album. Maybe there's a contract that requires a certain amount of albums to be released. If the target is not reached and Vito is fired, then Sony might have to pay a lot for the compensation. That's just my guess. I think it's more related to Celine side. Maybe Rene doesn't want to continue the contract with Sony after the current contract is fulfilled. Quote

It's a quick way for Sony to cash in, and that's why I refuse to buy it. I know some people get all excited because it's Celine and it's "something new", but to me, it's the perfect example of why Celine should go to a record company that treats her with respect. That's exactly why I refuse to buy this album. I'll buy an album if i'm supporting Celine. If I buy this album, I won't be supporting Celine, i'll be supporting her greedy record company that wants to make a quick buck off her name. They couldn't even take the time to go through her archives, and put on a couple of never before heard songs. No, what do we get? One unreleased song from the TC recording sessions, and one live version of a song. That's it. I honestly hope this album flops, because I don't want Sony to win and get their quick buck. This album is an embarassment to her name, and I hope that Celine goes to a record label that treats her with the respect that the world's best selling female artist deserves. I was fed up with them in that joke of a promotion for TC, and i'm fed up with them now. Celine, I love you, but please take some control over your career and go to a label where they're gonna care. Not for buying every album/single/song Céline releases you are a bigger fan, and that's of vital importance that everyone understands that. It's not Céline who is releasing this album, its her record company who does it to milk the cow more and more and more at our expense. It starts out looking like an ad for Target cause it shows the bulleye logo and then RDMH plays and they showed a few clips but the only other song you hear is MHWGO and at the end it says available at Target. Has anyone else seen this ad? It seems like Target is working to push the album, probably in anticipation of the holiday shopping season. Pink is no where to be seen in the....Does this not idicate fantastic initial sales in the US???????????????? Taking Chances entered Number 1 the same day as the Top 200 chart and in this case MYEC enters the week before.... Hmmm, didn't even notice it, will check it out when I get to the shop again ... i spotted that typo when i was at the cd shop ! but no choice as i needed it for my collection,....very disappointed tho...... pls see pic....what a shame...... thats not all, the 2nd cd list (on cover) only has 13 songs, but when i play, there is 14th song "my love -original version", i read somewhere, it says this is hidden track, but i prefer the one in Taiwan that show that song on the cover list.... I think it's kinda funny no one caught that before it was printed and shipped out,oh well it still a good cd even though it's just a bunch of songs we've already heard over and over again I was happy with the new unreleased song.Honestly the two versions of ML I wasn't impressed,yes I like the song but I'm not in love with it it's not one of my favorites anymore,I'm rather tired of hearing it.So two version of it wasn't the highlight of the cd for me.I could listen to There Comes A Time all day long and not get tired of it though,was it supposed to be on Taking Chances?How come the cut it from the cd?
