This is the first time since last saturday that I have the opportunity to come to the forum...

 

I couldn't follow the conversation since then, but I was at the concert as some of you and I have to say that Celine was incredible!!

Shortly before the show started Celine passed the audience before she went on stage. It was amazing to be so close to her and to see her in real It was the first time for me that I saw her live and now I can say for sure that she sounds even better live than on her CDs. She had so much energy and you could see how much meaning she put into the songs. I was really touched and moved to tears. It was such an awesome and beautiful evening and the ticket was worth every cent.

Another very intresting thing is that everyone from CAT 1 leaves the chairs and ran in front of the stage to dance with Celine at the beginning of River Deep Mountain high! The security tried to stop but they had no chance! Celine was surprised she danced a lot, smilied a lot SHE ENJOYED! I think she didnt expect that from a german audience!

The other categories in the back of the stadium were just laam. But we had our fan, WE ROCKED COMMERZBANK ARENA!

 

Haha, yes, the security didn't have any chance to stop the people and they soon gave up. And I was one of the lucky people who had seats in row 6 It was fun to dance with Celine.

 

On the website of the Arena it was written that you weren't allowed to bring cameras, so I didn't. But noone cared if people took their photos. So I'm wondering if anyone who was there would kindly share their photos?

 

Btw, was there an article on the FAZ or any other newspaper the following day?

I was there too with some friends (all french lol). It was such a great show. I really felt bad for celine when she entered the stage and saw the stadium was half empty

But she really was in it 200% I loved how she talked between the songs, especially when she said her mom would come later to sing a few songs

The audience was not so good, except after we will rock you (then people started dancing and everything).

 

After the show we met estevam and olivier, we met mego, elise, aaron... it was great thanks olivier!

I have to say I thought the prices (overall) were slightly on the high side. I would say the UK prices were the fairest. You could go see her for £45 in the UK. Again they did play it safe in the UK by only doing a few shows and the 3rd show in the 02 never materialised.

 

I dont reckon it should have been over 60EUR for the cheapest tickets for any show in Europe. If they had been 60EUR or less the shows would have been sold out no bother. 92EUR is far too much no wonder they didnt sell the far away seats. Did anyone honestly think they could sell another 20,000 tickets at those prices?

 

I know a few big Celine fans in Germany who were put off because they basically couldn't afford to go.

 

Ticket prices in general for artists are getting over the odds. They are cutting off their nose to spite their face. I know prices have went up for everything these days but concert prices need to come down. Gone are the days when you need to be on the phone at 9am to even get tickets.

 

I bought Tina Turner tickets which are slightly fairer priced. They max out at £100 which I think is more than enough for a 2hour max show. No matter who it is. However it is for next march and its a lot of money for people to spend for almost a year away.

i totally agree - way too high priced, too many german concerts, too large venues.

she should have done it like Tina Turner (bought tickets as well) - she announced two Munich concerts in the Olypmiahalle, tickets were selling like mad and now she does a third one here....great success already.

rather have two sold out shows in a smaller venue than half empty stadiums....

 

all in all, i think her management is not doing a good job anymore.

Of cause it's not in HD anymore, but the quality is still very great...

It was 2 years ago when i first saw Celine live in Concert... I remember how excited and overwhelmed i was. It couldnt be better, i found a lot of new friends and at the end we met the whole crew and dancers... I really miss it.
