Celine ilness is serious as other 50 people are also ill!!!! hope she will recover as soon as possible!

I'm talking about an indoor stadium concert in Beijing. And she didn't caught the virus in China, but Korea. And Celine would feel upset about disappointed so many fans too.

Indoor stadium won't be as profitable to them.

 

I think Celine would perform in only Japan for the Asian leg if money talked.

 

What's more, if they must decide which concerts to cancel, it will be Malaysia because China's stadium is bigger. China is much bigger than Malaysia in terms of marketing.

 

 

P.S. I don't mean to be rude to Malaysian fans but this is just my opinion Don't lash out at me.

There're many indoor stadiums here. I'm sure they can book one in the next 2 weeks if they really want. The reason I think so is the same reason as the China organizer make the price in Beijing, Shanghai so high in Big stadium. Over $400 for ticket in a 60K people stadium. So what price would they ask for in a 10K people indoor stadium?

Don't forget the logistics factor concerning venues. The TC an exceptional stage and it may not fit in/be suitable for every venue.

The stage in SA, Australia and Asia(except Japan) is not so special though, just a normal end stage with 3 big screens.

Well, they can compromise if anything. I'm sure most would rather have her perform in a not so suitable stage than a postponement (which may not even happen).

I'm so sorry for the Chinese fans... of course Céline's (and her team's) health is the most important thing but I really well understand how the fans feel about it!!

 

Although, I believe they will keep the promise of postponing the tour.. Someone said she hasn't kept the promise concerning postponing the show in Belfast. OK, but still she's playing in Dublin, right? And than she's doing shows in many of the cities this year which have been cancelled in 1999, for example Cologne, Vienna and some others.

 

I keep fingers crossed for this for you, Bellamy, and for the other concerned fans!!! (I know one other dear fan from this forum which is concerned too and in her case, she's travelling many kilometers to China....)

 

At least you'll see Céline in Shanghai soon and than probably a changed, improved show in Beijing next year!

Belfast is 5 hrs from Dublin, and Dublin is in the republic of Ireland, Belfast is northern Ireland....

Its like me telling you, don't worry, if shes not coming to poland, go see her in germany, its only a few hours over the border!!

Wow, i'm so sorry for you Bellamy, it's horrible... I hope he will keep his promise!

If he can keep his promise, they should bring the round stage to indoor stadium in Beijing.

 

I hope Celine will be able to do the Beijing show in 2009

 

She kept promise as the LTAL's American legs in late 1999 were resumed after being postponed due to Rene's illness as well.

 

 

It is still good that Malaysia and Australia dates are still remained the same!

She didn't keep her promise about tour to the canceled dates of LTAL tour in Euro though, not even in TC tour.

 

I was glad that I was one of the last stops before she cancelled those shows. In Dallas she gave such an emotional performance due to just finding out about the cancer. His nurses sat in front of me. I'm sorry Bellamy, I really hope they stick to their word!!

Ire, of course I know these 2 cities are not close to each other and that they are actually in 2 different countries - I'm not that stupid like you think!...

 

What I meant is that still Dublin is on the same island as Belfast and it's nearer to go to Dublin if there's no show in Belfast than going to some other shows, for example to London etc.

 

And I surely think that's it shouldn't be big deal for Polish fans to go to Berlin and actually a looot of Polish fans are going to Berlin show and also to some other German shows and to Vienna and Prague.

 

No harm done, I didn't ment to offend you and I don't wanna talk about Ireland/N. Ireland issue - I just hope you can get over it when it comes to Céline show and go to Dublin and I wish you an unforgettable time there!! Really!

 

As for Spain, I already said before that if I were her management, I would also swap 2-3 German shows for some shows in Spain, Portugal and maybe somewhere in Eastern Europe. But well, what can we do?...

 

I just hope and wish everyone that all fans who are willing to attend a concert can arrange and afford travelling to one or more foreign shows!!

I meant the cities which are left even in 2008. I know many cities are not being rescheduled in 1999.

There's nothing worse that hearing a concert you have tickets for is now cancelled or postponed. Clearly Celine / Rene have there reasons for cancelling but it is a shame on all the fans who have made arrangements to get to the show.

This is devestating news for the fans in Beijing. I am sure she will try to come back and perform for you next year...stay positive.

We just don't want Celine getting sick again and cancelling more shows...it must be causing Rene and her management so much stress...and poor Celine must feel awful.
