CONFIRMED: Celine WON'T be at the 2010 Vancouver Olympics

Not to sound like an arse, but dont they usually lipsync the songs at the Olympics? It's not like it'd be very difficult on her? IDK. It would be WAYY awesome though, if she was up there, 6 months pregnate! I would dance a jig of glee!

What is for sure is that celine will show the world just how good she is, all eyes from all the world on her, alot of pressure but we know she can do it! it maybe a number 1 hit accross the world, it may even bring celine back to the top! i hope she will do it, and show the world another beutifull part of winning or losing, getting a child!

I really like Sarah but the song 'one dream' is kinda slow and ..boring for an olympic anthem , I was reading comments on a blog for this theme song for the Vancouver Olympics and many said it lacks the power and energy of Celine. I still hope she'll perform ..and why not a bilingual song, after all , Canada is supposed to haVe two official languages; French and English , so does the Olympics..

In fact, I think it was the producer back in 1996 said that the singing performances were lipped as it was too big a production, and they couldn't afford any mistake. The CD version of The Power Of The Dream isn't identical to the Opening ceremony version (ie. the extra money notes near the end), may just mean they have two different recorded version.

René said from the beginning Céline is on "at least" an eighteen month break so as far as I am concern I never thought of seeing Céline at those Olympics. To me that means NO Céline anywhere until September 2010 or even later...

That's just an observation.....if the first treatment worked, she would be well over 6 months when the Olympics take place, now its *only* 3 months (if the last one is succesful). So it's still possible.. Edited November 24, 2009 at 07:46 AM by CSCfan
