probably, she has used autotune many times before from what I have heard on this topic, why not again now?

 

Well that's what i thought also but when i've asked a couple youtube users, they like went off saying she would never use auto-tune. Only ONE out of the about ten users i emailed actually admitted auto-tune was used. In OS, the auto-tuning is painfully obvious!

 

Auto-tuning aside, she does sound more inspired on this album than SuBo. "The Gift" is so boring you wouldn't think it's a Xmas album!

after few more listen to the album it's actually not bad at all althought it may not be as good as her last xmas album but some of the songs in the album does grow on u and i have to say compare to Susan's xmas album i would prefer MC's

the album is doing pretty well. i actually expected it to miss the top 10 and sell below 30k on its first week. she might actually get a gold certification after the Holidays.

I have to say... I'm so glad I downloaded this album instead of buying it! I would have been mad if I spend $ on it! The only song I really liked was "Oh Santa"

Yeah that's just really bad. But actually the album is nowhere to be found in the UK. I live in London now and they said that it's HMV exclusive but I checked like 5 HMV stores and the album wasn't there... no posters, no anything. A lot of UK fans complained about that. Mariah should leave IDJ if she ever wants to sell outside of the US. Seriously how do they expect this album to sell when music stores don't even have it. Not to talk about the 0 promotion in the UK. "Oh Santa" doesn't even have adds date for radio in both UK and US. "All I Want For Christmas Is You" is already in iTunes US Top 100 and is gaining more than 2M audience per day on US Radio. I was pleasantly surprised she entered the Dutch charts at #52, because lots of Dutch lambs complained it's hard to find. I have a hard time finding it myself. I want to buy the deluxe edition with DVD, but haven't found it yet!

Mariah's Merry Christmas II you was released in stores in Iceland on November 22th.

It isn't a big seller but Mariah has fans here.

I bought mine in the store i work at and we only got 5 copies so few.

Memoirs Of Imperfect angel is still available at our store since last april 2009

and no one byes...sadly.

 

 

I think this new album is the best since TEOM.

And is no less than her first Merry Christmas album

Marc Shaiman is incredible reminds me a lot of Walter Afanasieff

and Randy Jackson is amazing to and Jim big jim wright,

amazing team.

I also like James Poyser and acourse JD.
