RUMOR: Mariah To Confirm Pregnancy On Oprah's Show THIS FRIDAY!!!

 

September 22, 2008. MediaTakeOut.com EXCLUSIVELY told you guys last week that Mariah Carey and Nick are expecting their first child together. Now we're hearing that Mariah and Nick may be ready to come out and confirm it publicly.

 

According to one of MediaTakeOut.com's snitches Oprah is all set to confirm the pregnancy this Friday during her Hot Topics segment. And it gets better. Word is that Mariah may also give Oprah a brief interview via satellite!!

"I Stay In Love" To Impact Radio Oct. 21st

According to All Access, the biggest radio industry information source, "I Stay In Love" is scheduled to go for adds at Top 40/Mainstream radio on Tuesday, October 21st.

 

Although All Access gets its data directly from the record labels, please consider this as tentative until an official announcement is made.

Yay for my favorite song from E=MC2. ... but I think it won't be a hit after all the other singles/semi singles and what not... I think it's a great choice for the autumn/winter season.

she only work for fame and money, not because she loves it. she NEEDS IT. and that's what makes her less of a great artist. poor mariah, she can't be proud of her work if it didn't reach the #1 position.

Fact is that the record industry expects a great chart position. And for an artist like Mariah it´s as a matter of course that she has to reach the peak of the charts again and again because she works really hard for her money. Look what happend on her when Glitter flopped in the charts. The record company kicked her out because she didn´t reach the peak. And for her latest music: Mariah would`t be still successful if her music wasn´t great for her audience.

It's the record company who always want a #1 hit, so they won't always let Mariah choose the single of her choice. She's also very intimidated about her recordbreaking streak of #1 hits. The way she talks about Elvis for instance, shows she looks up to him. And remember when her "#1's" album was released? This was also an idea by the record company.

I agree. I remember even when she put out the #1s album she said one day she would put out a Greatest Hits cd with, of course, other popular songs that never went to #1, but that were better than some that did, in her opinion.

 

By the way, I'm happy with "I Stay In Love" as a single.

duh, she still has one of the top selling albums of the year. I've said this a million times but I'm going to say it again, it may not have been a smash but it was nowhere near a flop. She had her moments on the charts when the album came out, yeah it didn't last long but hey... it is what it is. I don't know what do you expect, people don't buy music anymore. Look at the statistic, the biggest selling album in America has sold a little more than 2M. Mariah has sold 1.2M. It's not bad number if we look at sales in general. And the biggest seller worldwide has sold 4 or 5 millions. It's not like she is flopping hard and everyone else is selling 30M. She got married, stopped caring for this album and that's why it didn't last long.She had a hit single and an ok selling album but it wasn't a flop. I'm sorry, you may call it however you want but that only shows that you can't be real for once.
