I think they won'tl release the TC DVD until February or March 2009 for obvious reasons. They'll do it when Céline's tour is over only.

 

Until then we have the one on the Plains to savor.. :wub: :wub: I just can't wait for that one first! Waooou! :jump: :jump:

 

I'm with you here. I think it makes more sense if the DVD is released after the tour is over... Though I'm dying to have it in my hands! :msn-tongue: :giggle:

According to Stéphane Laporte, the Taking Chances World Tour DVD will be released next Spring. :D

Actually, if they did I would be happy. More HQ performances, not just one selection and that would be it. As long as it is material from the World Tour more versions is actually a good thing. Of course, it won't happen.

Nop, there'll be lots of songs that only a few of us got to witness - CFTF, TJTWIM, TT etc. Typical of Sony. :confused: WE WANT ALL SONGS!!!!!!!!!! :yes:

Let's hope they do a better job of editing and choosing which tracks to include. It should hopefully appear to be better on DVD than the Vegas show was, simply because this tour is primarily in the round, making multiple angles a great thing for us to see in our own homes, rather than trying to accept multiple views of the Vegas show, when we were all so used to seeing the show in one angle.

 

As for all the "rare" performances, I hope that they're included! It would be so fantastic to have those gems!!!

 

Off topic: My copy of Celine sur les Plaines" is on it's way from Canada! woop woop!!!

I think only 2 discs is OK.We should know that the buyers of this DVD won't must be a fan of her,they just want to see her best,not all of her scenes.

They should have done the same with "A New Day..." DVD release but they didn't manage so....

I wouldn't expect that much from them...

Anyway, I wish they would.

they want to release an english and french version seperately, maybe they can include different bonus stuff for both versions...

They only do this for CD releases. :whistling:

Most likely since they did it for AND. I'm disappointed the Quebec concert isn't. :down:

I like the idea of spreading out the material for as long as possible....

 

Once the tour is over - Celine will finally be on rest break - and we will be desperate for new material. So I'm fine if the release date of this DVD is closer to April or May...

I want this tour to be over as soon as possible since I'm dying to watch the DVD.

 

 

P.S. I wish the 2-disc DVD of Let's Talk About Love tour were released. One disc is for the first dress in the opening night in Boston and the other grey dress she used in late 1998 until early 1999.

EXACTLY!! I am almost certain that segment on the AND DVD was put there only so that they could keep away rumours of playbacked performances.... "oh she must sing live all songs, why else would her brother stand there ready to remind her how to sing Ammore Anascunotto phonetically, in case she sudenly forgot. or shall I say her playback track forgot... I mean why would they do that?" - seriously WHY would they do that.

 

:huh: yes am I the only one who found that segment of the DVD major akward?! :shrug:

Well I didn't mean that, didn't even think of that... but now that you've said it... I find it barely logical your "theory"... just barely, because we forgot AND had an entire installation behind and under the scene, maybe TCWT stage is too small, though it's definitely big, but maybe they don't have phisic space for Celine's brother to be under it to remind her the lyrics.

 

TCWT and AND are two different shows... :wink:
