I'm glad this topic was created because there are some things that have bugged me about this album. FIRST... A New Dawn (aheem...A New Day?) hmm.. Even the lyrics say "A new day has come"....hellooo, new material please? Aside from that, i do love the lyrics. It does drag on for a while... my main problem with this song is the background vocals! Does anyone else think they sound flat and horrible? She should have been backed by a huge gospel choir (think Call the Man)...not sure what they were thinking there... My Love...didn't like it at first, now I do. Subtle. Strong ending. Shadow of Love...finally has grown on me and now I like it. A Song for You... love it. But does it bother anyone else how she pronounces the word "singing" as if she has a cold? "Yeah I was sigging this song for youuuu..." I can't get over that. Love the song though. I Got Nothin' Left...dislike it more now than I did. Ne-Yo's vocals annoy me. Song is repetitive. And every time she sings " I'm done with you" It sounds like "And don't refuse"... ANNUNCIATE CELINE!!! Skies of L.A....beautiful song, HOWEVER...the subtle techno sounds that pop in about half way through/at the end. What? Why? Huh? Techno? What? Quote

Skies of LA took me a while to get used to... still not real fond of it, but I don't HATE it. I listen to the full album almost every day - it's becoming one of my favorite Céline CDs!
