Absolutely love her CBS specials. All of them were done live, right? Hopefully it airs over here.

Glad to see so many from the forum are going, after all this is a concert for the fans.

 

A little bit sad about how easy they give away tickets for that, it's like they are desparatly trying to fill up the seats, like no one would like to go... :(

Hmm it shouldn't be hard to sell out seats for some TV special for the woman selling out seats for 5 years in Vegas. :hmm:

after finish taping, i guess she will spend some time to sign autograph to the fans, so tell her about shooting more videos and promoting more more and more (blame sonybmg also of not treating her like a DIVA)...

ASK HER about US 2nd single. when will it be released? i think she wont answer that but ask her anyway, lets give us the month of the release: feb or march?

I am so tense to know what songs she did... I don't care about the stupid Q&A, there's gonna be stupid and uninteresting questions alread which we already know the answer to.

 

It would be a dream if it all was about the TC album.

I'm more interested in whose gonna be there. I want the show to mostly be about taking chances but I do think a few old songs are necessary. Maybe a nice little medley

Why does these old hits have to haunt her already, she ain't THAT old...? :confused:

Oh God, Fred, pleaseeeee. You won't tell me you DON'T know that if that special were to be about Taking Chances solely there would be no chance in hell CBS, a TV channel for rather older audience, would agree to it. It's just simple marketing, economics, profit, ratings and of course the fact that Sony hopes like they described it on that pamphlet to "boost the sales of her entire catalogue". It's a sad reality.

 

But that doesn't mean we have to complain about everything she does. We will get her on TV with some old songs, the special will be about 40 min without commercial but what we will get is Céline at last having her own CBS special for the first time since 5 years! And even if it will be lipped like the ANDHC one from 2002 or the ATW one from 1999 I couldn't care less cuzz they are usually pretty well done and expose her to the audience she has been always associated with.

 

I'm looking forward to tomorrow's reviews. :wub:

Even if she does just one song from Taking Chances and tell everyone that it's from her latest album maybe people will realise that a new album is out (I still doubt many people know that a new Celine album is out due to poor promotion by Sony) and will go out and buy it. After that, some may even consider requesting it on their radios.

 

Then atleast her "older" fans would know that an eveolved Celine has emerged and that they should be ready with their medications and tell their family members to call 911 IF they happen to see another "Simply The Best" type of performances (where Celine goes all smexie :drool: which I'm 99.99% sure that tahat will not happen in the US for some or the other reason) :lol:

OMG guys i totally forgot that its tonight, have so much fun regardless of it being live, lipped, old stuff or new, this is the start of the new Céline!

Vegas was holding us back when it came to the new album being released, and now, with this show (the newest freshest thing since AND) I think we are actually entering the new era of Céline's career, so enjoy it to the fullest and be sure to tell us all about it!
