I wish I could be at Brisbane airport when she arrives....hopefully some of you will be and capture it on camera... I also have 3 and possibly 4 tickets to Celine's first Sydney show for sale. I will sell them below cost if necessary...they are platinum in section F...let me know if anyone is or could be interested.... In regards to promotion...she will probably do an interview with Alan Jones...since he is promoting her like crazy and has always...I know this only becasue my Dad listens to him every morning. Perhaps a special performance for 'It takes 2' since Anthony is on that show.....she might pre record a song for the show with Anthony since she will be in Mellb that Tuesday...... FINGERS CROSSED! shedawon Posted March 18, 2008 at 12:26 AM Posted March 18, 2008 at 12:26 AM I am going to the Brisbane concert and can not wait I will be sitting in the front row...I was so lukcy to see her in Las Vegas in December last year, saw her 4th last show, it was the first time i had seen her and it ws by far the most amazing night of my life. I took her a present and one for Rene Charles too, but was not allowed to leave it for her as the people at the box office said she was not accepting gifts during her fina week I think all us Brisbane fans should give her a big welcome! Does anyone know when she will be arriving at the airport ? we should get a group together, that would get her attention for sure! Other than that, I don't know how to do a meet and greet? Does anyone have any ideas?? I will be attending her Brisbane concert. I am coming from New Zealand. I understand that people who have diamond tickets, (which is what I have) gets a VIP pass to the pre-show party . Maybe she will meet and greet like she did in Las Vegas ...that would be fantastic As for meeting Celine at the airport - that would be so awesome!! I probably won't be part of the fans to meet her,she'll be there before I get there but good luck to all meeting her at the airport. Does anyone know when she actually arrives!! Hi Super, We booked through our travel agent here and that is what is on our travel itinerary. It is also on our ticket voucher which we have to present at Bris Ent. Centre ticket office. We are getting picked up from our hotel around 5.30pm - 6pm and her show starts at 8pm and apparently we are only 20mins from BEC. People paid a lot of money to see Celine, and they don't want to do so in the dark, with no sound equipment. If they have no lighting and stuff, there are gonna be a lot of pissed off fans haha. It would be cool if they did The Prayer together! They also said that only small bags are allowed in the concert and they will be subject to checks. I'm travelling all the way to Melbourne from Singapore to watch her and I will be touring Melbourne at the same time. I think it's a real hassle for me not to be able to bring my stuff in, including my camera. Is it just me or is Australia the most stringent on such things so far? Quote

But a few years back I saw Delta at the same venue and they weren't as strict...so who knows why...My guess is that they will do The Prayer as a duet...but that's purely speculation, nothing has been confirmed or denied yet. Cos I was watching the Fashion Design awards y/day which were at 12:30 I reakon the rules about the bags are Rene's request, because Celine is such a massive star. Rod Laver Arena is usually quite relaxed, they didn't even check me for Gwen, but for Live n Local I got padded down lol. My advice is to keep your camera concealed in a black pocket or bag within your bag - it works everytime for me. Once you're in Rod Laver don't give a crap about photos because it's so big. My mum THINKS she heard that the Today show appearance will be Monday! I wonder if she will be on So You Think You Can dance on Monday since she's already going to be in Sydney? It seems like she's got a full week of promo ahead, can I say I TOLD YA SOOOOOO When she's in Melbourne next week I'd keep the tape rolling on that Dave & Kim show on Ch 10. Well when the Today show ad was on, my mum saw the whole thing (I was screaming from the other room) and she said it was Monday, and the Today show is in Sydney so she would have to be there. Maybe it's another day, but the ad gave the impression it was Monday they called her "Billion dollar diva Celine Dion" - as soon as they said "billion" I was screaming lol. It would make sense to get the press rolling from Sydney early in the week so the interviews and all can help boost sales while she's touring. So, would it be best to leave my camera at home do you think? In Vegas they made me check it in at the cloak room, do you think that's what they would do in Brisbane too? At Acer in Sydney...Bette was quite strict with cameras but I took some...as did lots of other people...for Kylie and Westlife...no one cared...I took hundreds... I am seeing both Sydney shows and the amount of money I have spent...I am going to get at least one decent photo that I won't have to download from the net...hehe...everyone just get the cameras inside...and good luck....we need Celine documented here in Aus!!! Surely she must have arrived by now..................................................??? Everytime I am dribing around and I see a limo or hire car...I think it could be Celine......... Quote
