Ya know.. im sorry.. i gotta say something. I think it's always great when other celine fans get to meet celine. She is a great person and i think if you are a huge fan of someone and are truly inspired than i only hope everyone is lucky enough to have there dreams come true. I think it's great that Ramona has had her dreams come true, but now it's getting really ridiculous and truly unfair to all the other fans out there. And frankly, it's getting scary that people are now calling Ramona and legend and are just as excited to meet her as they are celine? That's scary to me that this is what it's come to. Unfortunately, and i hate to say it, but i believe that her luck at this point is solely based on the fact that she has money. Because lets face it, 90% of the fans can not afford to go see all these shows all the time. Believe me, i am a huge fan and i have had my fair share of luck with celine. But i never followed her around the world. I paitently waited, and chatted with people and just was myself. I didn't spend thounsands of dollars, b/c i can't. I truly mean no disrespect to Ramona. More power to her for getting to meet celine. I'm just tired of hearing people praise everything. She is NO different then any other fan out there. And it's just getting to apoint where it is truly not fair and NOT right for other people. I usually don't post anything, or say anything because I know how this forum can get when someone has an opinion that is opposite than the majority. But, this is a forum where you can speak freely and express your view's especially when we all share a common interest.

 

I don't know why I'm wasting the energy on replying but I will for arguments sake.

 

For some of us, Ramona is maybe the closest some of us will ever come to meeting Celine. She IS different to the rest of us fans, although many of us like to call ourselves Celine's #1 Ramona is undoubtedly #1 and in Celine's eyes also. Sure to follow her around takes certain financial means, but Celine is something she is passionate about. I think just to hear Ramona say "yes she really is that AMAZING in person" can be really reassuring to a die-hard fan. In my circle of friends or family I'm the "Ramona", so as a fan you see a lot of yourself in her, this goes for all fans though I would love to meet anyone who shares our passion. After all it was you who said yourself "we all share a common interest", be happy for Ramona and the fans that want to share a moment with her or any other fan for that matter.

First of all to CelineFan31: You really know how to ruin a mood. Secondly, you know sh*t about Ramona to say hurtful things like that. Everything that we on the forum and Rene & Celine say about her are true. This is the reason she does not post on here.

 

Now on to happier thoughts:

 

This day started out crazy. Not only did Ramona have her four interviews (radio & TV) but we had an interview with Celine tonight in her dressing room before the concert. It all happened thanks to Rene, and a producer and writer from CBC radio. They had a radio interview earlier in the day with him and talked about Ramona being Celine's #1 fan.

 

I was freaking out the few hours before the appointed time. We met the CBC people at 8pm and were escorted to her dresing room area. Rene came out and was interviewed with Ramona for at least 10-15mins. Rene remembered many facts about where Ramona has been and when they first met. Celine apparently did not know there was going to be cameras and an interview before the show. Only that Ramona was coming to see her.

 

After a few minutes, the door opened, Ramona was the first in followed by the camera person and Gerard. Celine and Ramona hugged. When I saw her, a calming feeling came over me. Celine looked at me and she said something like "I met you many times before" I said " my name and shook her hand (no kisses, as she is still sick). "I have been traveling" with Ramona and she "She said "I see you all the time with Ramona".

 

The interview between Celine and Ramona was like two girlfriends having a conversation over coffee. Gerard then pointed Celine and Ramona over to the makeup area for more pictures. Gerard took a million pictures and at one point, Rene told him to wrap it up. The interview seemed to last over 10-15 mins, Rene had warned them only 2 mins (haha). They don't know how Celine and Ramona love to talk.

On the way out, I thanked Rene.

 

We DO NOT have any pictures, we were not allowed. I will post some when I get some e-mailed.

 

I am cloud nine, I cannot believe it. Thank you Ramona, Every good deed has its rewards!!!

The concert review: The crowd tonigt was worse than last night (at least in our section).

 

Although Celine was still sick, she was on fire, doing some crazy, goofy things, even did the Michael Jackson crock grabbing thing at the end of (I think) IA.

A few people handed her roses during PTQME and at the end a little girl had a frog and Celine stood there and waved the girl to come. Celine then layed on the stage and asked the camera guy to pick the girl up to give her a kiss. The frog had a card attached to it with RC's name on it and Celine saw it. She loved it!!!

She said now she needs water and has to "worry about a girlfriend for RC now" She walked over to Mego's piano and the frog landed next to Mego and Celine grabbed it back and said "you can't have it, it is for RC, but you can hold onto to flowers".

 

She left out WWRY & TSMGO as she is still not feeling well.

 

The radio interview wil be aired tomorrow somewhere between 6-8am on CBC radio canada.

 

The video portion will be aired at 6pm. All times Winnipeg. It will be available online for 24hrs after at www.cbc.ca/manitoba under todays events

With all do respect, I personally thank you for your opinion but what you must understand is that JUST because she has the money and the "means" to make her dreams come true doesn't mean that she should be criticized by others. And for the record, Ramona has worked hard all her life and she finally found something she loves and that makes her happy- its not her fault that her happiness has no boundaries and requires her to travel and follow Celine. You wouldn't be at critical if her happiness was sitting at home knitting. I think any fan out there, if they had the ability to do what Ramona does, would be doing the same thing! She is an inspiration to us and that is why she gets the recognition that we all give her. NOT to mention that she promotes this forum in the process. And most of all, She would be JUST as happy if not more for any of us if we were the one being able to experience these things. She has a heart of gold and shares alot of what she has with others here on the forum and for that reason, she DOES deserve it.

 

Yes, it must be hard to not get jealous of her many encouters as we are all human and would love this experience. BUT when you think of what she has done all her life to get to this point and what she has shared with us alll, how can you not just be genuinly happy for a dedicated fan no matter the circumstances. She deserves her praise just as any of us would expect from this forum as we are ALL cheerleaders for each other. We are a support system and we will keep each other going and give the praise where deserved.

 

I mean this in NO WAY to be disrepectful and we are all entitled to our own opinions. I hate drama and I am in no way trying to start anything, I just wanted to respond to your post and maybe makes things a little clearer.

And the funny part is that "majority" is LESS than 5% of total registered users, the rest 95% could care less about Ramona or her minions, who post for her so she doesn't have to maybe. I don't know. I wouldnt be surprised if mods read our PMs. Lol. In any case, I have to disagree with Chellbie about the fact that if every fan had means he would be doing the same obsessive behavior/following (i certainly wouldnt define that as a passion. After all a 62 (!)year old woman who should know better). There are quite a few people on here, myself included, that have the ability to visit many more shows that we visit and travel everywhere Celine goes to but we CHOOSE to not embrace that kind of life or behavior. Certainly I understand that all people want to meet Celine but not all people go to such extremes.

 

And what did you people expect Rene to say? That Ramona is coo coo and needs to get evaluated? That is very bad PR and he as a gentleman and for the sake of Celine's career will never say anything like that ON TV, because that will turn people away.

BUT when you think of what she has done all her life to get to this point and what she has shared with us alll, how can you not just be genuinly happy for a dedicated fan no matter the circumstances. She deserves her praise just as any of us would expect from this forum as we are ALL cheerleaders for each other. We are a support system and we will keep each other going and give the praise where deserved.

 

I mean this in NO WAY to be disrepectful and we are all entitled to our own opinions. I hate drama and I am in no way trying to start anything, I just wanted to respond to your post and maybe makes things a little clearer.

Chelse, I can't wait to meet you one day because you are so wise beyond your years and obviously have a very kind heart and beautiful soul just like our beloved chanteuse.

 

I was blessed this past Monday to spend time with Ramona and Christine. I did my own hard work and had a dogged determination to meet Celine, so I won't play down the part I played in making my Celine moments come true. But my meetings with Celine were made possible in part because of Ramona's familiarity to Celine & Rene, her gracious way of sharing her love for Celine with others, and because of her & Christine's amazing attitudes. It was such a cool experience to watch Ramona getting all the attention from the media. I took some video of her being interviewed as well. And when I left them on Tuesday to come back home to work and family, I knew special things were going to continue to happen in Winnipeg. And now to hear about Ramona's interview with Celine I'm completely overjoyed for both her and Christine. Ladies...you so deserved this; I appreciate you both very much and can't wait to see you again in Montreal in February.

 

And for those who have not met the good, good soul that is Ramona please try not to judge. Make a point of trying to meet her if you can. She paid her own dues in life, she raised a family, she worked hard for many years, and now she is travelling and doing what she loves. She has become a part of Celine's scenery; she and Celine have developed tradition and no one can take that away now.

 

More power to any and all of you who want to get closer to our wonderful Celine. Make your dreams come true and please don't put down others for pursuing theirs.

I happen to agree that this forum tends to limit person's freedom of speech. And the funny part is that "majority" is LESS than 5% of total registered users, the rest 95% could care less about Ramona or her minions, who post for her so she doesn't have to maybe. I don't know. I wouldnt be surprised if mods read our PMs. Lol. In any case, I have to disagree with Chellbie about the fact that if every fan had means he would be doing the same obsessive behavior/following (i certainly wouldnt define that as a passion. After all a 62 (!)year old woman who should know better). There are quite a few people on here, myself included, that have the ability to visit many more shows that we visit and travel everywhere Celine goes to but we CHOOSE to not embrace that kind of life or behavior. Certainly I understand that all people want to meet Celine but not all people go to such extremes.

 

And what did you people expect Rene to say? That Ramona is coo coo and needs to get evaluated? That is very bad PR and he as a gentleman and for the sake of Celine's career will never say anything like that ON TV, because that will turn people away.

At least she pays for each and every one of her tickets unlike someone. And not to mention the (tens of?) thousands of dollars spent on the front row ticket for the finale of AND.

 

What have Ramona done to deserve this type of treatment from you? I asked this last time but you had nothing to say...
