I think you guys are taking this too seriously... Just calm down. I think I get the points of view from both sides.

 

Ramona does what she does because she is a Céline fan, have money and time to tour the world with her and she'll probably have a blast doing so. Let her do what she wants to do... I certainly wish I had the money to see more concerts but I don't, so I won't cry around for that. I feel lucky to have had the opportunity to see her, there are some people that will never get that chance. I prefer to think about them, then to think about who sees more shows.

Secondly, the fact that Ramona has seen Céline so many times, doesn't mean she's the #1 fan or that she's a better fan than the rest of us... Again, it's all about having the time, the money and the will to do so. Certainly there isn't a rank of who has seen Céline more or who has the best and biggest collection. It's in the way we feel her and her music. She makes her feel special and in a way we share our life with her.

I am happy for EVERYONE who had the opportunity to see Céline live and I feel really bad for those who hadn't... but then again, so what? That's the way life goes. If Ramona has the possibility to do a little promotion for this forum and for Céline... Hands down to her. I have to say I saw Ramona in Berlim. She had first row seats and I was in the 5th row. I didn't go to meet her, I had no right and also didn't want to. I don't know her personally or through the internet, I just hear people talking about her and I've seen her photo. She's a fan like everyone's else and she was there to enjoy the concert as well as I was.

In the other hand, I think I get what DianaLuts is trying to say. Probably Diana feels that Ramona shouldn't get all this promotion because she's a fan like everyone else and shouldn't get promotion and have a connection with Céline and René just because she has the means to see her so many times, unlike the other fans... But then again, every fan does what he/she cans. And it's a matter of choice and luck. If you don't have the means to see Céline, you just don't get to see her. If you have the means to see her, you have the choice to see her for "X" number of times... You can choose to spend all your money on her or don't. It's up to you. Ramona lives her life as she wants and we have nothing to do with it. As well as we choose to live our life and noone has nothing to do with it. Diana, were you trying to say that there are some people that overreact about Ramona just because they see her as a way to get to Céline? Yet again, if that happens, I don't know if that's the case or not, we don't have nothing to do with it. Ramona is a grown woman, she chooses to get along with whomever she wants.

Just relax guys... there's nothing to fight about. There are choices to be made in life everyday, certainly this one is not the most important one.

 

Please have in consideration I'm totally unbiased in this matter. I hardly know anyone of you as persons. I only know you as members of this forum.

I happen to agree that this forum tends to limit person's freedom of speech. And the funny part is that "majority" is LESS than 5% of total registered users, the rest 95% could care less about Ramona or her minions, who post for her so she doesn't have to maybe. I don't know. I wouldnt be surprised if mods read our PMs. Lol. In any case, I have to disagree with Chellbie about the fact that if every fan had means he would be doing the same obsessive behavior/following (i certainly wouldnt define that as a passion. After all a 62 (!)year old woman who should know better). There are quite a few people on here, myself included, that have the ability to visit many more shows that we visit and travel everywhere Celine goes to but we CHOOSE to not embrace that kind of life or behavior. Certainly I understand that all people want to meet Celine but not all people go to such extremes.

 

And what did you people expect Rene to say? That Ramona is coo coo and needs to get evaluated? That is very bad PR and he as a gentleman and for the sake of Celine's career will never say anything like that ON TV, because that will turn people away.

Is she harming anyone? no she certainly isn't. All she doing is seeing her favorite performer on stage. I really think that it's time to give her a break. But you've shared your opinion and this is me sharing mine.

 

Edit: I also think it's quite rude of you to make fun of the people that are friends with Ramona by suggesting that they make a Ramona worship forum.

I don't see it as rude but rather practical. For those of us who prefer to see an occasional photo or a review from the actual show it is quite time consuming to be looking through 25 pages of garbage in order to actually get to the photo or a review. 95% of this forum if not more is not interested in what Ramona or anyone else is doing besides what Celine might be up to. I dont see the point of living life vicariously through a Z list "celebrity" when one can be making own dreams come true. ANd certainly that has nothing to do with the actual beauty of Celine's performance whether through photographs or show reviews.

I'm thrilled that a Celine fan got the opportunity to do such a wonderful thing, be it Ramona, or whomever. I also see some people's opinions as jealousy, but there are others that are simply stating their opinion on the matter and not judging the woman and they're still being slammed by other people here.

 

Sorry folks, but that's not going to solve anything.

 

There are other issues going on in the world right now that are more important that trying to label someone as a hater or jealous.

I was happy to see the interview with Ramona and I'm glad some others in Winnipeg got to meet her.

I think the drastic change in temperatures has finally caught up with Celine so I'm not surprised she got sick. If you think about it she has not seemed to had to cancel/reschedule that much on this tour which seems amazing. I'm sure she will recover soon!
