I also love the pics of cheerful Celine looking straight into the camera! They show exactely what I also think - that she was in such a great mood yesterday! Both - at the hotel and during the concert! She was cheerful and chatty!

HOT, HOTTER, THE HOTTEST!!!

 

Oh my God, I've had a fabulous night with my boyfriend yesterday evening in the Amsterdam ArenA! It was the best concert of Celine's tour till this moment I think! I've seen the shows in Antwerp, but this was so much more powerfull, and Celine was having so much fun! Her voice was in very good shape (it was also very hot & clammy & 25 degrees in the ArenA, which is great for her voice I think)...

 

The people in the A sections (we were seated in A2, one row of which I bombed to be the "Gay Row", 8 of the 12 seats ) were awesome and we danced and were standing most all the time! The security was too bad in the beginning of the concert. For example: We had to throw away our bottles of water when we were passing the security, because they were concerned that we were going to throw with these bottles, let me think, will this happen at a Celine Concert? When you have a rock concert I can imagine this but a Celine's?! Even when we bought some fresh water in the stadium, we didn't get the cap, how stupid! But that are some important security things I think.

 

Okay, that's all for now concerning my frustations, let's go on with the show...

 

After The Storys, the crowd on the North Side of the stadium began to introduce the wave, the first 5 times it didn't work out, but finally the whole stadium was doing it, and it was amazing, I had a deja-vu with 9 years ago when Celine was also in the ArenA, we did the same thing! On the big screens was shown the message that Celine asked us not to smoke at the concert, which i thought was a very funny way to say it was a non-smoking area...

 

Celine sounded amazing and had so much fun! My parents had some cheaper tickets, and were seated further away but they enjoyed the concert also very, very much! The sound was very great (which has been very awful during many other concerts in the ArenA) on the field but also in the other parts of the stadium.

 

It was an amazing experience the hear many of her old hits and some fresh new songs live! I really loved: I Drove All Night, The Power Of Love, Taking Chances, Because You Loved Me, My Love, Al By Myself, Alone, I'm Alive, Love Can Move Mountains, Pour Que Tu M'aimes Encore & My Heart Will Go On.

 

The Prayer was very touching, Celine was suddenly singing in a more classical way... At the moment I can't remember exactly which song she was singing before Love Can Move Mountains, but when it ended she looked very surprised that she had to sing this song, I think she was a bit confused and she didn't expected it to sing already...

 

Pour Que Tu M'aimes Encore was amazing also, she didn't expect that we also sung it so very loud, she was surprised by it!

 

We went to sleep at 1:30, and today my boyfriend and I have this Celine Blues, we were really blown away by her performance and enthusiasm! We clapped all night and were dancing all the time. so we had to rest a little...

 

This is all for now, Celine, don't let us wait for another 9 years to come back please!

Wow Marcc, I was in the A2 section too!

Yeah, it's been a great concert, we were all jumping and dancing. Yes, the security asked us to sit down but, well, we didn't care a lot about them!

She's been incredible!!! That was my first Celine's concert ... I was so excited, everything was so emotional!

I loved "Because You Loved Me", that's the part I prefered, but the whole concert has been amazing!

 

Can't wait to see her again in Milan, and maybe in Munich too!!!

I'm so happy to read all these great reviews because personally I've been blown away yesterday as well!!

 

A funny thing at the beginning: I think it was when Celine talked about touring the world with her family etc., she was walking around the stage and than she stopped at one end and I know it was the section A3 where most of CDIP members were and also a lot of people from TeamCeline. Most members of the Dutch fanclub has been wearing orange t-shirts and Céline said to them: "You're looking good!" and than continued her speach - I thought it was cute!

 

She was very surprised and impressed by the crowd singing along to "PQTME" and also to many other songs and than at the beginning of "Love Can Mountains" she said: "You've shown me you can sing tonight, you wanna show me how you can dance?"
