Olivia, be patient - maybe Céline will answer your letter but give her some time. I know some people who gave her letters in Las Vegas and received replies some weeks or even some months later! Just be patient, I'm telling you!

Hi guys...

Finally I'm back from NY, which was btw fantastic..... :clap:

After reading all your fantastic and also critical reviews I think it's time to write mine.... :wink:

For me, it was my 3rd time seeing Celine live in concert and it was truely one of my best expierence in life. :wub: My seats were actually in the 9th row but my friend Olivia (You were so nice to me!!! :clap: ) and I just went to the first row were 2 seats were empty.....although they were surely sold but probably the people came late so they had to leave the seats to us.... :giggle: Judith (AbigailCeline in forum) was sitting behind us which made the event even more better and funnier.... :clap: During the concert I had an amazing time...although the technic sucked at the begining of the concert......The funny thing is that after watching the awkward video of "IDAN" I just realized how much Celine has struggled with this song.......back then I didn'T noticed it at all that she was singing the note of "Inside" completely wrong..... Though I'm sure she thought the playback has already started again (probably she heard the playback in her earphones) so she didn'T made the effort to sing that note.....I couldn'T think of another explanation :huh: .... :pinch: Except of that difficult at the beginning the show was incredible. Her voice was in great shape and she also said lovely things about our country :kicking: ........I have to admit that the crowd in Paris were much more singing, dancing and cheering than in Vienna, but that didn'T really bother me..... ^_^ Although an old man behind me always told me I should sat down because he couldn't see. I completely didn'T understand why he was attending that concert...He wasn't clapping at all....not even one time..... :blink: At least the concert was sold out!!!

Finally I wanted to thank the fans I have met there who where all truely amazing and sooo nice especially Olivia, Simon, Jojo and Judith...... :clap: We had so much fun while waiting for Celine at Stadthalle....I truely mad some new friends... :wub: And I loved your present for Celine, Babara that you gave Celine's brother...

Celine was featured in "Oesterreich" and the "Kronen Zeitung" which came with an exclusive DVD of "A New Day", the disc is a picture disc, surely a collector's item! Stay tuned for many more amazing pictures from the concert.

hi everyone here!

here is my report of celine's first performance in vienna:

although I've tried very hard, it was unpossible to get to meet her personally. all journalists I contacted told me that sehr would "fly in and out". although I couldn't believe, that she would not even do a press conference - and I was of course disappointed - I could understand that regading all these shows which must be really exhausting, I calmed myself down in the afternoon of july 1st and begann looking forward to the concert.

as I entered the stadthalle the air was already humidified and as Celine entered the stage at about 8.30 p.m. it was also for my the lifedream came true. I've been Celine's fan since her win of the SongContest 1988. since then her music is a very important part of my life. her music was there "for me" in all the good and the but days. and seeing her live - well! I was in "Celine-wonderland". as I was so excited I didn't realize the mistake in "IDAN" at the beginning. but I must say: thank god she is not perfect! thank god that she is a human being. I'm pretty sure that she performed most of the songs live.

I was sitting in the 8th row of "parterre, osttribüne" and I also couldn't understand that the people were so often seated, not going with this incredible show. the critics in the newspaper of the next day where not so good. but - even without the "fan"-eye - the show was GREAT!!!! celine has an uncredible body. and here voice - mainly the acapella-pieces at "my love" - sent shivers up my spine.

before "river deep" I ran directly in front of the stage. and seeing now celine just a few meters away was so surreal. having seen this phenomenal performance on the "A new day"-dvd and then LIVE ... I can't discribe the feelings I had. Just couldn't nearly breathe!!! And finally hearing "MHWGO": I don't know how many times she had sang this song since over ten years - (I wonder if anyone knows that!!!) - but I was fascinated how she interpreteded it, as if it was the first time - or at least it appreared to me like that.

I know in this forum are many fans who saw Celine more than one time live. but for me it was the first time. unfortunately she cancelled her show way back in 1999 due to René's sickness, for which I have had an absolutely fantasic card in the sixth row. so for me her show was perfect, how she moves, runs over the stage, sings, whatever.

just one thing remains a little secret - most of the time she showed the bigger part of the audience her spine. I wonder if rene was sitting in the smalled part of the hall or did she always look to the technicians?

and: being under the stage - what must that be like?!!! well I guess - and I hope - there will hopefulls be a "backstage"-dvd what will answer this question.

and: I wonder if Celine got my giant bunch of lilies and my long, long letter which I handed over the protman at the stadthalle.

unfortunately my fotos are not very good. but here are three of them.

apropos: the dvd which the Austrian newspaper "krone" sold for 5 euros contains two (unchanged) parts of the "a new day"-dvd: the concert and "because you loved me - A Tribute to the Fans".

celine also got a "golden cd" right before the concert. the scan of it I will post tomorrow.
