This performance should SHUT everyone up now. She can sound as flawless as she did 15 freaking years ago. OMG That is Céline Dion pure!

after watching the HQ video it's even more obvious...maybe i'm the only one who doesnt like this performance but i truely think she sounds tired and her voice is very weak here . she also killed that last note... :ermm:

she needs to rest her voice for atleast few weeks - no recordings , no shows , no interviews :flowers:

Why you don't give Celine, Celine fans and yourself a break. We all know you won't like her performances, new songs anyway. I wonder if I should help you get a break by suspending your account for maybe 1 year. :rolleyes:

That was miles better than the TCOML performance- here she was really singing with all her might and working for it. back then it was so flawless and effortless. Now, this time, much more emotive. i loved it. And she's getting better looking I think. Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous!!! Show that to all the doubters and fans of other singers who says Celine has no voice now. Me no think so

But one thing made me made!!http://smileyset.com/temp/PRINCESS/angry.gif They didn't advertise that she was performing during the show!! Sure they showed a few second clip of her singing at the begining but everyone else's performance was announced before the commerical break! They never said Celine Dion will be perfoming until she came on! you are soo right! i agree 100% also they showed some singers performing 2 songs and they should've talk more about elvis influence on new artist on the strip but anyway it was great.

Exactly. She is still a very, very good singer. But as we said, she's not a young girl anymore, so it's normal that her voice changes. It's still a very good performance. But once, it was far better. :thumbsup2:

Even though it is really great and I know you all mean well I'm one of those whose internet speed would allow that HDTV-file to take a day to load, so thank you once again for putting it on youtube! :flowers:

 

Oh wow, I can't believe how incredibly breathtakingly heartbreaking the first two verses are. Soul, soul, soul, soul. I was a bit negative when I heard she was gonna perform this song for the third time and not another track from Elvis' wonderful reportoir. But she did it slightsly different this time. A bit "worse" if you like when it came to the finale, but oh sho improved when it comes to the first two verses and the overall feeling in it. It leaves me breatless, I am actually so glad to see the soulless technical perfection is gone in this version.

 

It ain't bad, far from it. But as I said, even though Céline has traded in the top notch perfect vocoder of hers she has gained something much more valuble in return - soul.

I thought Sweden has one of the best internet networks around the world. I think everyone gets at least 10mbps there?

It didn't took that long to download........much better than TCOML performance I would have asked for more visuals but anyway Celine was wonderful.......and I LOOOOOOOVE that with the years her voice sounds more and more sincere and profound the new "rockish" era for sure is going to blend perfectly :wub:

She didn't sound at all tired- you sound tired thevoice- and you're making everyone else tired around you. In fact I saw that post and said, I bet that's thevoice saying that...surprise, surprise. Pun intended. Bog off and don't be so critical- how on earth could she have sounded better?! I really don't know. That's the best live performance in years and I'm not just getting all over-excited. Far better than Summertime, and better than the Divas performance of this song. It was much more soulful and full of emotion. I have never seen you say a positive thing- or even a simple "wow- that's great". I gonna come and beat your bum!

Thanks so much for the videos and Mp3. I couldn't wait for the HQ. A-MA-Z-ING!!! Looking great and sounding flawless. Her voice has aged that's true but what do people expect she uses it a lot and like any tool it will wear down, but she still sounds FANTASTIC!
