I suppose they'll never release any new physical copies of the album now, but if they did, I wonder what the tracklist would be. I suppose it would be the same as it is on the streaming services now with I'm Your Angel removed and replaced with I Met An Angel (On Christmas Day) at the end. 1 Quote

yoyoma Posted December 1, 2020 at 03:52 AM Posted December 1, 2020 at 03:52 AM Celine dion team got to be the stupidest incompetent team artist in the world that does not know how to milk money. These are special times used to be the second biggest selling xmas album in the u.s. and the team couldn't bother to revive the sales. If you look at itunes. Josh griban ,mariah, michael buble all milk singles from the album. celine team could have just push more Happy Xmas or O holy night to the audience. 4 Quote "Take the time to make the time to make each moment count" - Unfinished Songshttps://youtu.be/sh8iyY-X3UQ
yoyoma Posted December 1, 2020 at 03:55 AM Posted December 1, 2020 at 03:55 AM Part of me think celine just wants to retire now and wants to be a mother to her kids. But hey, has she ever thought she needs to keep on working in order provide the same lifestyle and life assurance to her kids until at least they work! 2 Quote "Take the time to make the time to make each moment count" - Unfinished Songshttps://youtu.be/sh8iyY-X3UQ

Mariah is on course to hit number 1 in the UK Singles Chart this week with her 26 year old Christmas song. It’s an amazing song and every single year she pushes it and performs it. It’s so sad that Celine, with three Christmas albums to her name, doesn’t have that one classic Christmas “go to” track that the general public can get behind every year. stevo Posted December 1, 2020 at 01:52 PM Posted December 1, 2020 at 01:52 PM (edited) How would she have done this? She could have a Celine at Christmas with Friends Special any year, and actually mention her own very successful Christmas Album and talk about and sing her actual own Christmas songs that are on her actual own Christmas album. But because that wouldn't qualify as promotion for upcoming concert dates, TeamCeline would never consider such a waste of time and effort. Mariah's team along with AppleTV have organised, produced, marketed & advertised her upcoming first Christmas Special presumably nearly all via video links in the middle of a pandemic. I can also see this becoming an annual event with Mariah inviting different guests each year. We will get a picture of Celine taken by Dee (the amateur photographer/amateur hairstylist) rolling around a snowy field in Vintage Diane Von Furstenberg. If we're lucky. manu23 Posted December 1, 2020 at 02:19 PM Posted December 1, 2020 at 02:19 PM Agree they should push this album every year. Apart from AIWFCIY, TAST is superior (at least to me). Happy Xmas (War is Over), O Holy Night and The Prayer could do much better with a bit of promo. 1 Quote

I miss her Celine + Friends attitude. Like when she had Destiny's Child and Bryan McKnight. Will.i.am and Josh Groban then five years later. Even though Josh Groban is a total snooze-fest. Side note, has Celine wore DVF? Also shots fired at Dee hehe. Honestly, Celine could have so much more fun with music if she didn't hide away in Las Vegas or Quebec. Say what you will about Madonna, but I get the sense she is at least excited by the prospects of working with these younger artists and admires their work? Having Sam Smith and her do a duet would've been a great way to buck this trend. Quote
stevo Posted December 1, 2020 at 03:24 PM Posted December 1, 2020 at 03:24 PM I was excited by Ashes and that big surprise and so happy with how well it did - but that was the last time. Now there just seems to be no creativity or desire to show off her talent, apart from in the terms of obscene touring/concert contracts. And I'm pretty sure she has worn DVF! 3 Quote
comingback Posted December 1, 2020 at 05:50 PM Posted December 1, 2020 at 05:50 PM (edited) The question is: Will we get a Christmas message or a picture in the snow this year 🤭? Edited December 1, 2020 at 05:53 PM by comingback Quote

If we're lucky. In a bun. It really is surprising that they've never done much to promo TAST every year - it's still a perennial seller, but it was such a huge success and could have become a foundational holiday album if they'd shown it a bit more love. Mariah has done everything but hand-deliver her album to every residence to keep it alive, and it becomes both a big success and a news story every year. She's re-released the album a couple of times with videos/bonus tracks/new recordings, released a sequel album, created an entire claymation movie around the main song, performed it multiple times on seasonal TV specials... I don't particularly like Mariah Carey and obviously she doesn't perform many concerts, but she's a savvy businesswoman who puts in the promo where it's needed. Having your hit holiday single go to #1 25 years after its release isn't just serendipity. 2 Quote
mirage Posted December 1, 2020 at 08:50 PM Posted December 1, 2020 at 08:50 PM Mariahs team surely knows how to seize the moment. Where a few years ago she was laughed and mocked about her awful Christmas performances. She now definitely is the Queen of Christmas. Is it too much? Definitely. But they are doing a good job year after year. With her Christmas concerts, and now a TV special. I'm all for it. The only Christmas special from Céline is already many years ago, and even on that one they managed to perform all her hits. And since Aldo is gone we have to be lucky to get a Christmas picture and same words she is been using for all her special days this year. I'm definitely getting tired of those 'special day' tweets. They are all the same. Something like Winter Song is too much to ask for these days. Remember that memoriam video she made for René? Lying in bed, singing that Sia song. It was too much, but ten times better than her weekly quotes these days. She could have a Celine at Christmas with Friends Special any year, and actually mention her own very successful Christmas Album and talk about and sing her actual own Christmas songs that are on her actual own Christmas album. But because that wouldn't qualify as promotion for upcoming concert dates, TeamCeline would never consider such a waste of time and effort. smw Posted December 2, 2020 at 02:30 AM Posted December 2, 2020 at 02:30 AM (edited) Still hoping we can get Happy Xmas (War Is Over) to the top ten on iTunes this month. Here's a post Olivia Newton-John made when she found her fans got her song, Xanadu, back into the top 5 a while back. https://www.instagra.../p/CD2RNH-D3TD/ I think it'd be a great surprise to Celine from us, her fans, if we can pull it off!
