Her Voice on Quand on N'A Que l'Amour is ...wow!

I really want to see this mini concert.... I Pray that the rumor about the TV broadcast is real! :cry:

Julian, I don't think it was just a rumour. You see the logo of videotron on the TVA special report? This is the company that will broadcast the concert on their network. they also have a D'elles preview for their customers. We will be able to hear the full show soon.

 

After watching the high quality news report I must say she shouted WAY too much. She has definitely the Whitney Houston syndrome here where she as well as Whitney desperately want to sound like they were 15 years ago. I thought she was already over it now. She can't and she won't ever be able to do it but she still tries and puts an immense strain on her voice this way. She may end up like Whitney eventually if she doesn't pay attention to her voice especially considering her current low vocal standards.

 

On the other hand I think she looked very good, shining and very apprioprate for the occasion. So glad she lightened up her hair, it's looking good on her. It also seems she is in good physical shape judging by the definition of her biceps during one of best songs ever written - Quand On N'a Que L'amour. She's definitely prepared to take over the world again physically, but vocally she has to reconsider big time in my opinion. She won't manage the tour if she will sing that way on every date. But then again I bet she gave her best there cuzz of the children and will be better managing her voice during the tour.

u know very well that celine wont sing live each and every song on her upcoming tour , celine always gives everything when she performs live on TV and why not? why not using the talent she has? - no she cant have that powerful voice she once had but that doesnt mean she cant hit some high notes . she is taking care of her voice and we hear it on each one of the bootlegs from vegas - i mean half of the show is not even live , what do u want more?! :unsure:

 

and how can u even compare a singer that is on drugs for 30 years to celine who is not talking between performances , not smoking , not drinking and not eating certain stuff to make sure she sont damage her voice? :huh:

Quand On N'a Que L'amour is a song meant to sing that way. And the news only showed the high notes, that's why it sounds like she only shout.

Sure her voice is powerful. I like the things that Celine's Blues says here. He/her (sorry) has always such a inteligent point of view. But this time, I can't agree with that. And believe me, I'm a very, very critic of her actual live performances. But this time, I dare to say that I was surprised about the way she sang. It was very, very good! Sure it's just some clips, but she looks powerful and not nasal. She sounds as a singer that I know... her name is Celine Dion.

 

PS: Am I still the only one who notes the new extensions in her hair? It's longer... very...

I don't think she uses extensions anymore....and as for her tan isn't she just back from the bahamas!! lol

i think her hair is maybe too blonde for the brown...but she doesn't look bad...n the dress actually made her look lyk she had some boobs :P :giggle: yea i still wonder if she's using those extension :hmm:

I can't see the change in her look! It's the same colour as in the GTSW Video and she her hairstyle reminds me of the Enchanting Photos, Immensite and SNRQ Videos.

after watching the high quality video i truely think celine looked much better recently...i dont know i think it's her skin again - she looks so much younger when it's lighter , she spends too much time in the sun .
