MTV VMA 2007 in LAS VEGAS

this year according to mtv news podcast

the awards show will be in las vegas, at the palms

IN SEPTEMBER

 

Celine could make an appearance, present an award

or she can debut a new song from upcoming english album...

who knows...

september is only a month before the english album...

 

wouldnt be cool?

but its all in my mind...

i think celine should be there!!

We should all mass-request Céline. She would have a chance to make a big first step for the promotion of her upcoming English single.

I think for sure Rene will realise this oppurtunity to get her on the show to say how successful the Vegas show has been and to preview her new single. I'd be shocked if she wasn't theerin some capacity. She's the Desert Diva after all

VMAS IN SIN CITY: For the first time, the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards, the 24th annual edition, will be held in Las Vegas at the Palms Casino Resort, to air live on Sunday, Sept. 9 at 9 p.m. (live ET/delayed PT). MTV President Christina Norman announced that performances will be staged throughout the resort grounds, from the hotel suites to the scenic rooftop. MTV will program a whole VMA weekend, while the show itself will air only once in its original form. Encore presentations will be remixed versions programmed by and for the viewers. I think it's very unlikely Mtv will ask Celine Dion to sing among their awesomely outrageous artists. She's too prim and proper for their taste. These days it's all about how much skin you flash and how much profanity you put into your music. Plus, Celine hasn't even produced any music videos this year, let alone have any of her music videos played on Mtv since TTWII. Remember when she was on TRL, she told Carson Daly it was about time they invited her.

Celine managed to be the no. 1 female artist ever without ANY help from MTV. Those people wouldn't recognize talent and good music if it hit them in the head. I love any new Celine stuff, and that's the only reason I'd like her to be on. But I'd rather not have her there, because it would just look like she's jumping at the chance to be on MTV. NO! She doesn't need them and she shouldn't be on their show to give them any credit. MTV doesn't deserve our Celine!

Think Twice, MHWGHO, I`m your Angel, I`m alive, TTWII were big succeses on MTV.I think that if Celine will bring some fresh music -as commercial singles!- with Neyo, Ben Moody (whom are big on MTV), Celine will have BIG succes on MTV.

Mtv doesn`t like Celine, until now, because her music is not that commercialy as MTV likes, Celine is like Lara Fabian, Barbra Streisand, Helene Segera, women, whom are not commercialy like Madonna, MC or Kylie.

I think that if the roumors about that RNB album are true, she will be succesfull on Mtv.

Exp.When TTWII was appeared, she was on TRL, because TTWII is very commercial, what Celine had not doing at that point .

Well, sometimes we get surprised with MTV... Once I was working and the TV was on at the secretaries' office and then I heard some sound I knew very well, I went there running just to see that it was on MTV and they were playing Céline & Anastacia singing You shook me all night long, from the DVD Divas Las Vegas... That was the first time I saw Céline in MTV in years...

 

It'd be really nice if they invited her to the VMA... It'd promote her among the young people who watch MTV nowadays...

i agree. i don't think they will invite Celine cause supposedly she is not hip enough for MTV. lol, she is way cooler than anyone there on MTV. they play the same s*** ALL day long over and over. pretty much as bad as KIIS FM .

oh you see crap videos??? I don't even see ANY!! I think the only time they air music is between 3:15 and 3:30 at night! All they show are these so called reallife soaps, stupid teener girls who should be sent to a third world country for a year and now I saw that on MTV Holland they're gonna show whole movies like trainspotting!
