i'm almost certain they won't release a single along with the DVD. arround this time will be the second single from the french album and the first from the english one...

as as it is: IS will hardly be released, it just doesn't make sense

I know 100% percent that it MUST be on the beach where Celine took the photoshoot for ANDHC! EVERY TIME I listen to the song, I imagine Celine walking dramatically performing the song. And then finally and the main chorus ("Right here, right now, I give my life to live again...") Celine stops, stretches out her arms, looks up in the sky and belts out the word. Then at the main "I Surrender" part after that, Celine stands in one position as the camera circles Celine, a full 360! And the hue of the beach/sky should be just like the dark-blue hue as it was on the cover of the ANDHC album! (See the blue hue on the beach in the attached image)

I'd be able to get a LOT more vivid... but let's not kill the dreams of others.

But since the song FIRST CAME OUT, this is how I imagined the video!!

Gosh, I hope the Team reads this topic!

BTW, Maybe this campaign will actually convince Sony to listen this time; I don't know why, I just have a strong feeling!

i imegine this video in a huge castle (something like in its all coming back to me now) celine is singing in a lot of rooms and than in the moonlight out of this castle. At the end when she is singin " i give my life to live again, i brake free, take me..." her soul is going out of her body and her body is falling on the ground

Welll I kinda imagine this video clipe more of a hard core thing...

IF this track is to be a single, i guess they might have to do some tricks with it.

ya know, add some more rock flares, more guitars, bass. So it could beat a Evanescence song, or somethin, just MORE and MORE powerfull ever.

I imagine it like, a meteor striking the earth, right across New York (of course) and then, a giant water wall crosses the ocean, and, AFTER, a huge celine comes out of the ocean, just as big as the titanic (hehe), powerfull, her eyes redish, all in a dark dress, showing off her amazing legs out ,her arms reaching out, than she moves toward the city, and, as more asteroids come to earth (like a fire shower)

she keeps singing till she reaches a huge mountain, over it, she sings the powerfull note, arms wide open (of course) as the earth is taken over by fire and power (celine power).

You guys do realize that artists don't release singles for concert dvd releases right? Unless she also releases another live album to go with the DVD there will be no I Surrender single.

Well, just in case all of you do not know. Celine also has single that was not included in her "Let's Talk Anout Love" album and I don't know why. :confused:

It was written by Jim Steinman, the man who wrote "It's All Coming Back To Me Now." I just hope, the song written by Steinman "Is Nothing Sacred" will also become a single.

Actually, you are right. I mean, i LOVE this song and i believe that it's one of the most powerful songs of her career but let's be honest. Celine needs new songs, new hits, new things in general. I don't think that she will get something from this besides that we'll be satisfied. It was really a shame that this song didn't make it back then but now it's a bit late. Anyway, it's another great song in Celine's career.

that's not really how it works... I'm sure they'll put some kind of "Check out the live DVD: Coming Soon" flyer in the new cd, but that's going to be it.

Putting I Surrender as a bside on a single won't help the song. Especially because (as I pointed out in another thread) the singles market is pretty much dead in the States now. Very few artists actually release cd singles with extra tracks anymore.

The most you can look forward to is some kind of EP on itunes, but I doubt that will happen as she's already doing 3 releases, finishing up a Vegas show, and planning a world tour.

I don't think the song will still become a hit 'cos the song will already sound old. Only few songs from older albums gets popular in the present time. Like what happened to "To Love You More" by Celine Dion. I think, it became a hit 5 years after the album "falling into you" was released.

But I really want Celine to sing another Jim Steinman song.

And it would be great if Jim Steinman would make a song for Celine Dion.

:clap: I totally Agree with U fred hunni I Hope I Suurender will be a single it is one of the most powerful ballads ever recorded by a female artist and Celine owns it nobody can outsing her version.

And some Mystery about the song that i know about and here it is.

Back in 1996 on her rise as a superdiva Mariah Carey co-wrote a song for a new artist the song was supposed to be sung by Mariah Herself but she desided to give it away because she was working with Walter Afanasieff and touring at this time so she gave it away to this new singer who had a big voice to. Her name is Mary Griffin. Mary is at similar age as Mariah somewhere between 33-38).

This song i am talking about is called I SURRENDER U guys regonize it lol Mariah wrote this song with a former bandmate Louis Biancaniello and Colour me Badd lead singer Sam Watters were in the studio with( Mariah/Walter) when they wrote the song and Mary recorded it after words hehe. .

Later miss Celine Dion re-recorded it for her 2002 comeback album A New Day Has Come Celine was amazed by the song and loved Mary´s powerful voice and she re-recorded the song and like we all know it is very popular from her A New Day in Las Vegas were she performes it percfectionly. If an old article says so then I guess it MUST be true. :rolleyes: Mariah would be credited if she had co-wrote it, you can't just forget to mention who wrote a song. There are legal requirements to include their name and I hardly think Mariah and her team are the type to shy away from a writing credit. We would have heard about it a long, long time ago if Mariah had any involvement with this song. Utter rubbish!

Mariah usually take song writer credit even when she only write one sentence of the lyric, or just by adding some "oh.... Ah...." in the song. I don't think Miss Mariah would give up the credit and loyalty of " I Surrender", if she has anything to di with it.
