They said it's a rock feeling going through the album. There's no such thing. They said it's edgier for her. Again, I don't see it. I mean, I do love what I'm hearing, it's just not what I expected. On the bright side, lyrics are better than I expected and considering this is an English album, that's a great thing.Forget what I ever said about wanting her to record jazz and opera. Celine girl, do a BLUES album!!!!! That's Just the Woman in Me is my absolute favourite! This seems to to be her least commercial English album. I don't know why you guys wants Shadow of Love on single. It sounds really common, except it's Celine's voice. At least in that clip. Anyway... I was expecting a lot from D'elle too, to be honest, and I was blown away when I listened to it. Maybe because my expectations had more to do with the lyrics and less with the music. Come on guys they always said this would be different and it is, I definately believe it has major rock flavour for a female and it is fantastic..... I think the album definitely has a rock feel to a lot of the songs, but there seems to be a good mix. Here's my thought on the songs so far: Eyes On Me - Still hate it!My Love - I think I'm going to love this one. It has a bit of a Coldplay vibe to it Shadow of Love - Loving it so far! Its definitely catchy! It has kind of an 80's pop vibe to it.Suprise Suprise - Loved it from the studio footage and still do!This Time - This is the other Moody track and it sounds pretty good. Not a lovey dovey one New Dawn - I could hear Xtina doing this. I love anything with a choir in it so...A Song For You - I still don't love it but I like how the mixed it as opposed to the studio footage we saw.World to Believe In - Cheesey ballad but I can see myself loving this one when the whole thing comes out.Can't Fight This Feelin' - Good one. Sounds like a Kelly song.I Got Nothin Left - This one actually has potential but what the hell did they do her voice?Right Next to... - Not into it.Fade Away - Sounds like another Kelly song but I like it! It sound really current! And its not a lovey dovey one which is great.Thats Just the Woman In Me - I like the grit in her voice but her pronounciation is wierd in some parts. But its great! Total blues/Joplin song.Skies of LA - I think its hard to tell what this whole song will sound like...its kinda wierd so far.
