I really hope she plays Glasgow as well as Manchester. I dont see why not. Most people come here plus the atmosphere in Glasgow at shows are much better than at any in Manchester and London I have been to (for the same artist)

 

I'm already going to Nice and I will go to London but we need her to come to Scotland as usual.

 

Rene, please add Glasgow SECC as a date.

If she goes to Glasgow, I am definitely going as I will be in Paisley... would be neat!

My fave DVD is "Live a Paris"! There are less effects and it is simply great!! :clap:

Oh, and yes!! I agree about the DVD!!!

It should be the double CD one, hehe!!

 

But as for "Au coeur du stade"... I think it IS the whole concert!! You can't count medley as 1 song and the whole thing last about 2 hours - unfortunately I don't think we'll get shows longer than this next year, even if I would wish for at least 4 hours show, hehe!!

I have block 10 row 10 and seats from 7-10:)!!!!

 

I know that ACDS dvd is the whole concert and i don't criticise it... but the cd doesn't contain the whole concert... i am happy that you agree.... i simply think that it should look like sth like that because always some side would not have what it wants...

Yeah, I have a DVD + CD release of my fave Dutch singer's latest album: it's a full concert on the DVD and the best parts of the concert on an audio CD - I think it's a great solution so you have both in one package!

As much as I would love if she release whole english/french concert on cd/dvd, let's face it, it won't happen. She'll probably release only dvd from concert in Paris and once again there won't be english one. Sony probably thinks that it's not necessary since we will get AND, that's their logical thinking. It will be Au couer du stade all over again. And yeah, probably 12-13 songs on cd but that's what every artist does, they release complete show on dvd and only selected tracks on cd, Celine won't be exception this time. Look at Madonna, Linkin Park, Josh Groban and almost everyone else. I honestly don't get it, why can't they put whole concert on cd or double cd, it's like unwritten law or something.

Single CD is only up to 74 minutes long so you can't fit the whole concert only on one CD.

 

But still, they could release a double CD like Patricia Kaas or some other artists use to do...

Of course the French shows won't have many English tracks, but they will have a few. People who think they will be complety free of these are wrong, and if anyone thinks Celine will stop singing MHWGO needs their heads read. There is no way on earth that song will be put to rest after A New Day... ends.

 

We may be a bit tired of this and we may realise Celine has sung much better songs, but like it or not it's her signature tune and the mass's who pay money to see her live want this song more than anything else.

I don't find MHWGO is a bad song at all, it's very nicely sung in studio, very emotive. She has never matched the emotion of the demo studio recording live.

Yes, I also like to hear MHWGO live but not for any price! More than this I would love to hear any other great LIVE performance of some English songs, for example "Think Twice" live would be my dream come true!!!

You never know, they might release an English DVD. It will most likely come out 2009 anyway which is long after the vegas DVD.

Well there will be a dvd and cd from this coming tour... and i have one thing to say...

I think that the cd should contain the whole concert (not as Au Coeur Du Stade - only 11 songs!) and plus there should be 2 cds one with French concert and one with English concert... and i think the same thing with dvd... Two concerts because if we have only one we will lose french part or english part.... it's not fair... What do you think?

I agree.... and although on one hand I really hope they will record the May 24th/May 25th Paris gigs for the DVD....on the other I don't want another DVD/concert recorded in Paris.. I would prefer Montreal this time.

I would've thought Celine would come to Scotland as part of the UK tour, she always has.

 

I agree that although Murrayfield was a stunning concert there is no way she's play there now. She would play the SECC 100% if she came to Scotland.

 

If not though London and Manchester are easy to get to and it would be amazing to see her in either of those two locations.

 

Looks like May is going to be busy month next year!
