Can you give us more info? Like what newspaper you saw the advert in and what company was advertising, and also what company you saw advertising on the internet? If we have links and company names and stuff we can keep an eye on the rumours and see how they develop. Did they have any prices?

 

The dates are unconfirmed right now so they might just be selling future tickets which they'll get for you when they become available.

 

The advertisement was from a Company called Premier Entertainments in the Daily Star on Wednesday 23rd May 2007. Also the website on which it is advertised is www.overlandtouring.co.uk - price £279.00 which includes accommodation overnight. The advert in the Daily Star is a similar price.

There was this site mentioning three concerts in London in the O2 Arena on May 6, 8 and 9 (I forgot the link) I guess that means the Manchester date might be May 3rd? All speculation of course but it fits into the May schedule and seems logical:

May 13th, 14th, 16th Antwerp

 

May 19th, 20th, 21st, 24th, 25th, 27th Paris

Guys, that price is not only for the concert ticket. It's for the concert ticket + 1 Night Luxury London Hilton Hotel + Buffet Breakfast each Morning + All UK Taxes. The ticket itself will be a lot cheaper than £279.

I made a research at the Hilton site, a room in London at the Hilton can go from about £150 to £200... So, logically, the ticket for the concert isn't that expensive. £279 - £150 or 200 = £129 or £79 for the ticket. Edited May 26, 2007 at 11:41 PM by ZoraSourit

Hi guys...

 

I just phoned up the company mentioned ''www.overlandtouring.co.uk '' spoke to the guy (sounds like he works from home) and he explained that, he was selling this as a package only - hotel, tickets etc...

He said the tickets were category 3, but you could later upgrade these, and the venue is the o2 arena in London.

I also stated there was no official info. yet on the website etc, and he said it will be made official in about 4/5 weeks.

So I've just been on this site and have discoverd that if you want to be sat in the front blocks - blocks A, the prices for these blocks are between £300 and £500!

IF this is the venue she is playing this is ridiculous, why is it so expensive?

 

And it looks like to have the worst seat - ie right at the back it looks like even those are like £75 to £95!

 

I realise the price will depend on WHO is playing - which means IF she does play here the prices are likley to be high as she hasn't been here for so long.

I've been waiting ever since the LTAL tour for her to come back to the UK as I was too young to go to it by myself and no one would take me! And now I'm gonna have to spend hundreds to see her

All these ticket sites that are being posted are sites that resell tickets. They put huge mark-ups no them to make as much money as possible. When the tickets are released, you can get them from the box office or Ticketmaster or whatever for much less since you'll only pay the face value of the ticket. So it's pointless worrying about these high prices unless you're planning on buying from one of these sites which there is no point doing at this stage unless you're looking for a hotel package or you like paying more money. The tickets haven't been released by the promoter yet and the dates haven't been confirmed so if you booked with a company like that all they're going to do is hold on to your money or deposit and then they'll get tickets when everyone else does, only they'll charge you more money. And that's not the seating chart either because Celine's show is in the round.

I really hope she plays Glasgow as well as Manchester. I dont see why not. Most people come here plus the atmosphere in Glasgow at shows are much better than at any in Manchester and London I have been to (for the same artist)

 

I'm already going to Nice and I will go to London but we need her to come to Scotland as usual.
