Dionesque Posted May 24, 2007 at 04:32 PM Posted May 24, 2007 at 04:32 PM Yeah, that was my idea and intention... But I already talked about it to Koolan. Hopefully we'll see a special World Tour section soon (like we have for the shows in LV) - it would be just great! CelineRox Posted May 24, 2007 at 05:38 PM Posted May 24, 2007 at 05:38 PM No you are not the only one! It takes ages to go through all these pages! Going back to the UK dates - what is going on? Are the dates definate and are they available to book or not? I have to know cos I really don't want to miss out on seeing her here in the UK!! Dionesque Posted May 24, 2007 at 05:52 PM Posted May 24, 2007 at 05:52 PM There are no dates known except of those listed on the official website. I think we still have to wait to see the English-speaking leg of the tour... I'm sure she will come to the UK, I'm not going there myself though. I'm impatiently waiting for dates in Holland, Germany and also hope she will visit some Eastern-European countries for the 1st time ever - like Ppland and Hungary! That would be something great and new! She's coming to Africa so why not come to Poland or Hungary?! DianaLuts Posted May 24, 2007 at 06:01 PM Posted May 24, 2007 at 06:01 PM Did anyone receive their tickets yet for Paris dates??????????? Quote
Kian Posted May 24, 2007 at 06:02 PM Posted May 24, 2007 at 06:02 PM Kian, they already charged us... They charge immeduately after completing the order and there is NO way to cancel the tickets! I talked to someone at ticketnet.fr and she told it's just impossible and it's said in their terms of use... Ok, thanks for information. I wonder how long we're gonna have to wait untill they send us tickets. I have a feeling we will have to wait for a while. Quote
DianaLuts Posted May 24, 2007 at 06:06 PM Posted May 24, 2007 at 06:06 PM Yeahh, what is that Silver VIP? it looks like she will be facing that direction then? and i am in X and W. damn, maybe i can get another ticket for the 24th of May or the 20th... Quote

blue515 Posted May 25, 2007 at 09:49 AM Posted May 25, 2007 at 09:49 AM Already 12,000 Tickets Sold @ Geneva!(7:00 a.m. GMT) Despite a server breakdown, most of seats for the concert of Celine Dion at the Stadium La Praille of Geneva (Switzerland), scheduled on July 9 2008, sold out on May 21st (date of ticket-sale opened to the general public). "It's incredible!" said Michael Drieberg, organizer of the event. "5,000 tickets were sold in only FOUR minutes, that's why we had a temporary server breakdown. Anyway we kept 2,000-3,000 tickets to stop the black-market and to give people, who can't buy tickets right now, a chance to attend the concert." Quote Life Is A Dream I Am Dreaming

She could have chosen Stade De France EASILY again but she didn't as it was an intentional move, not commercial. She wnts to connect with the audience and not with the stadium. She said it herself she wants a more intimate tournee in 2002. And she does it now. She said she will never sing in stadiums again and she won't cuzzit's a mess, a soulless mess without any trace of emotion in farthest sense. Quote http://i.imgur.com/dmreJ.jpg
Teodora Posted May 25, 2007 at 11:17 AM Posted May 25, 2007 at 11:17 AM I agree... Mid-sizes venues is best for her. She'll sell out for sure, it will be intimate enough, but large enough for all the fans who wanna see her to get a seat. I'm so looking forward to see the European dates for the English show, I want to go to one. The tour will be only one year, she said so (I know they were thinking about making it one or two years earlier), so there's only so many places she can sing in... Especially since she wants to visit too. Quote
thevoice Posted May 25, 2007 at 11:22 AM Posted May 25, 2007 at 11:22 AM LOL! seb - i think u r taking celine too seriously - we learned that celine tends to change her mind from time to time (this is the understatment of the century LOL ) she'll do huge stadiums again just like she is touring again eventho she said before vegas she would probably never tour again Quote

She merely said she intends to tour less. Mid-sized venues are the only way to go to connect with the audience and that'S only hy I decided to go and see her, I wouldn't even consider going to a stadium of 100.000 ppl. Not in hell. Does it mean they are already dispatching our tickets??!! :D  I was sure that the tickets will look somehow like this... but I was still hoping to see some nicer tickets... OK, it's not the most important thing but I miss the "oldfashioned" tickets with artist pic on them etc... But I guess these times are gone... Ach, and about venues... Yes, yes, yes!!! I agree with Seb and all the others who prefer mid-size or even smaller venues!! I love it too!! I don't want to pay 200 or even only 100 euros to see Céline just on the screen and hardly be able to see the stage unless I were somewhere in front rows! I'm very thankful to Céline that for this tour where I can finally join her shows, she choosed those +/- 15 000 capacity venues where wwe all (even if we bought the cheapest category of tix) will be able to see her and get into an interaction with her!! How great is that!! Merci Céline!
