I'd rather she did Murrayfield again. It was great there last time! And she's doing stadiums in other parts of Europe she might do stadiums here too. I much prefer them to arenas.

I was there too. I didn't think it was as good as SECC in 1996. There is not the same atmosphere you get indoors plus she didn't sell out Murrayfield then and its unlikely she would now. She would sell out Hampden park in Glasgow because I think there is a bigger catchment area here and its easier to get to however I have been there to a few concerts recently and the sound is horrendous it has a horrible echo. if she played Hampden I'd be upset as it wont be good.

 

I deffo think arenas are better her voice is louder and the whole experience for the people going is better. You walk away having seen a good show, much closer.

 

Where else is she playing stadiums? So far none have been stadiums they are all arenas so far?

Stade de la Praille in Switzerland and Stade Charles-Ehrmann in Nice are both stadiums.

Chicago, IL... Here I come when dates are announced for the windy city. I'm seeing Celine at her vegas gig in June, but to see what she can do in an actual concert is something I've been waiting to experience since I became a fan in 1998. I'm thinking the U.S. dates will be confirmed and announced sometime after her English album hits stores with a major bang!

I was under the impression that the show was in the Palais Nikai at the Charles Ehrman.

 

plus its a 9000 seater place rather than 60,000 or whatever Murrayfield holds so it will be much more intimate

So this will be like a greatest hits tour, with a respectable amount of new songs from her new albums. So like the paris dates will heavily cover her De'lles album. and other European cities will 2 I think. While her U.S. dates will cover her new english record, thrown with her many past hits, etc... I'm hoping she'll do at least a couple of her new french songs as wll, in the set list.

 

Wow, this is probally going to be the tour of year. With all the gossip surronding her next trek; it sounds like this is going to be her most exciting, thrilling, much anticipated, and best tour she'll ever go on.

Well, if its a show in the round they'll fill the pitch with seats which would increase the capaticy a bit but yeah that will be quite intimate. It will be great for the fans who are there! Who knows where she'll perform in the UK, I guess we'll just have to wait.

Why would she have a lot of English songs in a French show? She's touring French countries in support of D'elles like she said in the press conference so she'll be doing songs from there plus her past French hits that the fans will want to hear. There may be a couple but I wouldn't think there would be many.

The Nice show isn't in the round. Well not according to the seating plan. unless they are misleading us.....hmmmm

You're trying to get tickets for the UK shows though, right? There's be loads of English songs there. Last time we were lucky in the UK because we got two French songs (PQTME and SSD) plus Think Twice was added as a bonus.

Fingers crossed for Dublin too. I wouldn't be going I don't think but lots of fans were disappointed when the 1999 show in Ireland was cancelled.

Thomas - yes I'm hoping to see her here in UK as well as seeing her in Paris, but the friend who is coming to Paris with me doesn't listen to her french songs but I managed to talk her in to going so thats another reason for what I just said about her singing English songs!!

YAY! UK will have Think Twice. she can't not do it as it is still her biggest hit here. More so than MHWGO. Although people tend to forget it. lol but she gets a huge cheer when it starts and another ar seeeerious

Well guys, I'm almost sure there will be some shows nearer to my place - here in Germany or in Holland...

 

So I bought my tickets for Paris and Antwerp not because of the distance or so but just beaceuse I want to experience FRENCH show withl loads of FRENCH songs!!!

 

Of course I also would like to see English show with many English songs but then I will be trying to get tickets for Holland or ermany or so when they will be realized.

 

So please, don't say Céline should sing many English songs in Paris because that's exactely NOT the point of the thing!!

 

If your friend don't like Céline's French songs or just prefer her English ones because she can understand them - than I would take her to a show in the UK or somewhere else OUTSIDE France and Belgium!! hehe

 

 

And... aawwww!!! I totally forgotten about "Think Twice"!! It's really possible that she will sing this song only in the UK beceuse of its huge success there!!

 

And as it's my most favourite ever English song of Mrs Angélil... oh well... I guess I will start thinking of going to the show in London as well.... LOL! :clap:

Aware her about the French songs though, I'm sure we won't hear more than 3-4 English songs there.

 

But I'm sure your friend will be totally amazed, even if she'll hear only those few songs in English!!

 

I'm sure the concerts in Paris will be just amazing, unforgettable, with superb athmosphere!!! :clap:

I don't know about Geneva but Paris, Nice and Antwerp are NO stadiums!! There are all halls (arenas).

Well there will be a dvd and cd from this coming tour... and i have one thing to say...

I think that the cd should contain the whole concert (not as Au Coeur Du Stade - only 11 songs!) and plus there should be 2 cds one with French concert and one with English concert... and i think the same thing with dvd... Two concerts because if we have only one we will lose french part or english part.... it's not fair... What do you think?

Oh, and yes!! I agree about the DVD!!!

It should be the double CD one, hehe!!

 

But as for "Au coeur du stade"... I think it IS the whole concert!! You can't count medley as 1 song and the whole thing last about 2 hours - unfortunately I don't think we'll get shows longer than this next year, even if I would wish for at least 4 hours show, hehe!!

Well they did cut out Tell Him, probably for technical reasons. As long as there are no weird black and white special effects or blurryness or any of the other stupid filters they used on ACDS I'll be happy.
