I'm really soooo pissed off with this presale, I had to buy my good Amsterdam seat from scalpers and now I will be sleeping bad having nightmares about undelivered ticket.. argh!!...

 

And it sounds that in the UK/Ireland(US/Canada it's all even worser!!!

 

So the US TeamCeline tickets are not Will Call tickets??!!

In Europe all the tickets which are awailable since end of October and since November - they are all Will Call as far as I'm concerned so maybe that's one reason why in Europe the things are not THAT bad like over there in North America!!.... Gosh!!...

 

What can we doooo???

I'm sure part of them went to the scalpers and hopefully (for fans!) that they weren't all tickets and that there are some more tickets available which are blocked for the time being but will be released later!!

And if you all remember, TC said that the 2 ticket limit policy was to avoid scalpers. A lot of good that did!

 

Yeah, this made it so much easier...before you had to wait the 7 days to buy tickets, now you have instant access to tickets, it's sooooooo easy. I bought additional TC tickets for the Cleveland concert because I am afraid I won't be able to get any good seats come Monday. All I had to do was pay the extra $40 and I got 2 more TC seats! I'm sure the scalpers have done that plenty of times. Then they didn't even inform us of the 2 new dates for Montreal, so to me that is false information or with holding information from us. What I'm thinking of is sending a letter to CDA. I don't know what they can do about it now, but they need to be aware of this. They should make it madatory for all people to have will call or something so that you have to go to the venue on the day of the event pick up tickets....I don't know something NEEDS to happen, the fans are getting taken advantage of big time!

It’s so sad it had to come to that just to get a decent seat. Has anyone else resorted to that?

 

The excuse that limiting the tickets for TC members would help keep the tickets out of scalpers hands is officially a bunch of BS. We (TC members) are the only ones not able to get tickets, while somehow they still manage to. We need to take action, and demand we get the respect we deserve - because without us there wouldn’t be a tour to begin with. We are what makes this all work. We must be heard. A letter, a petition, a lawsuit, something… this has gone too far.

Well, of course I will respect if she won't ever tour again.

 

BUT this talk about 60% chances that it's the last tour etc. - I think it's kinda promotional talk - to increase sales as more people may be interested if there shouldn't be any more chance to see Céline live on tour after that.

 

That's just my small opinion.

Yeah. That's why they removed the 7 days waiting, and add buy teamceline membership with ticket option. They did those to AVOID scalpers!!! :evil:

René said in an interview with Cyberpresse.ca there will be a fifth concert in Montréal on the 23rd of August. If I understand the French correctly René cancelled the Halifax gig because they didn't feel welcome (I agree on this one!) and that gives room for another Montréal concert on the 23rd. Will be announced officially tomorrow, tickets will go on sale this saturday...

There was an article on cyberpresse today talking about Celine selling 4 Montreal concerts in 35 miunutes. Anyway it later speaks about the cancelled Halifax concert. Surprise Surprise the real reason isn't because the venue was not appropriate. There is a direct quote from Rene himself stating that since the concert was announced there was negative press and they did not feel welcome in the city and since that was the case the concert would be cancelled as they were not performing where they were not welcome. let's just say that i don't have very high respect for some of the citizens of my city right now. They always have to find a way of ruining good things.

Like I have said before i am still all upset about the concert in Halifax being cancelled. She was going to perform 10 minutes from my house. because of idiots I have to go to Montreal. I do not blame Rene for cancelling, but it still make me extremely sad.
