cool news!!! but how come 2 booklet??? one with all pictures?? or????

I think it'll be two booklets each 24-pages. Also the other one will have pics and some info on Céline's career... if I got it right. Gotta ask Kian - thank God we have some native speaker here.

Oh yeah, and they say that deluxe edition will be available only in France but I'm sure it will be released in some other countries too.

I've already pre-ordered the deluxe edition from amazon.fr (and the "ordinary" CD) I think I'd have a long wait before anything appeared in the UK! The CD is actually cheaper in France, but of course there's extra postage to pay.

Me too, but did you check dispatch date on your account? Mine says April 21- April 22 but I'm sure that's mistake, right?

I have two "estimated" delivery periods:-

 

18-23 April and 23-27 April (if I've translated the French correctly!), but realistically I don't expect to receive anything until after 21 May. Hope they don't prove me wrong

The thing we should expect from this album is that it's again DIFFERENT than any of her previous albums. With each and new release in French Céline is always trying to surprise and I bet the surprise with D'elles will be there!

 

As we know the album will be more up-tempo oriented and that's perhaps something that this time will separate the new CD from all the rest. And perhaps it would be high time for some (including me) to revisit their expectations - it would be bad for her after all to copy D'eux so why not make something that's drastically different to avoid comparisons? I think that's what she made and she loves it from what we have heard.

That's right and I think that's the way every creative singer should think. There's nothing worse then someone repeating himself over and over. I really love most of her albums, D'eux etc. but this is the way to go. I love the way her career is taking a new direction with every album. The only thing I would love her to do is approach her next tour the same way and to base her tracklist mostly on new albums with couple of her greatest hits. I always think that certain tour should reflect mostly the recent album and not recycle same songs all over again.

I think this album will reserve many surprises...But it will only be up to us if we choose to keep an open mind about it or not and not judge everything from a first listen.Sincerely, Veneruso seems to have done a great job with these two songs.But I'm curios about Gategno's songs, "Je Ne Suis Pas Celle" and "Berceuse".SNRQ is truly a great song.

Yes, Kian, she said herself she went for uptempo songs on D'elles cuzz she wants to sing them live on her next tour which will be supposedly "nothing like her Vegas one". Let's hope she'll build the tracklist around her most recent songs after 2002 with the heavy focus on the new French and English albums. BTW on D'elles there'll be only three ballads, the rest mid- and up-tempos - don't ask me how I know.

On the bonus DVD we will have the making-of the album - weird Sonymusic.pl didn't mention the clip to SNRQ which HAS to be there as well! The collector package will contain as we already know postcards and envelopes.

I agree. What prices!

 

I am not short on money or anything, and will buy most of the stuff anyway, but it leaves a bad feeling in my stomach when I feel that someone disrespects my consumer intelligence and sets prices that seem odd by market standards. And most of the income from the sales will not go to Celine anyway -- if it did, that would be different, but as it stands, I am not feeling large on feeding Sony's bureaucrats.

The collectors set include a 48 pages booklet, special cover and parfüm sample (+ the DVD of cours)
