It is indeed true that Céline singing "Ammore" is the ultimate highlight of the show. Her vocal show off is pure honey without excessive belting or anything, just emotions, so deep, so dark, so meaningful and so Céline. This one along with Fever has to be on her next English album, it's out of question how masterfully Céline manages to deliver them!

I've listened to the entire show and cried (like I always do when I see or hear Céline!) through most of it! Céline has a phenomenal voice and an amazing spirit!

 

I truly believe every song she sang was LIVE and I don't care what anyone else thinks

 

As far as the long instrumental in the beginning of AA, this is to give Céline time for a costume change....I still want her to record it!

i have not even listened to all of the tracks yet, but, omg, really, SEDUCES ME? A NEW DAY HAS COME? is it actually legal to sing this well? as a vocalist, sure, she's aged slightly and shifted her priorities, but man, can she still ever sing! i'm gonna say better than ever before... SEDUCES ME is, in vegas (and yeah, given the arid climate and conditions), far outweighs SEDUCES ME from her FIY tour...

 

keep up the stellar singing, celine!

First of all I want to thank Aut0mat1c for this amazing bootleg.

 

What a voice she is amazing and to think about the fact that I'm in Vegas again april 18 makes me even more excited.

 

For me honest everything souds 100% live to me the only part I have doubts is after the first chorus of The power of love, the rest is absolutly live to me so I give her the benefit of the doubt with TPOL because why lip one song.

Just downloaded most of the show...I'm going to do a song by song review as I listen....

 

(1) A new Day Has Come...WOW! It's so great to finally get this in good quality! Celine does a great job on this one, utilising her voice to fit this one. SHe does a great job on this one! It just WORKS, if you know what I mean,

 

(2) The Power of Love...she handles the beginning verses pretty well. The rest...well we've heard it before, so I won't comment.

 

(3) It's All Coming Back To Me Now...my favorite song of all time, but it's the same as on the ANDLILV cd. It's an okay vocal track but it could have been better.

 

(4) Because You Loved Me...Holy hell! This is the first performance of this song that I've been able to sit through and LIKE since she started in Vegas! Once again I like how she moulds her voice to service the song.

 

(5) To Love You More...second favorite song of all time, and some may disagree with me but I like this vocal track just fine. Maybe it's the nostalgia of hearing it when I saw her in Orlando, but I hope she doesn't change it. Nice speech, as well. I like her talking these days too...doesn't sound as mis-pronounced as on the cd.

 

(6) I'm Alive...Once again, I'm shocked that I enjoyed this performance, as I've always disliked the various Vegas performances I've heard. Pleasant surprise! automatic, what happened near the end when Celine said 'Excuse me, sir'.?

(7)If I Could...Oh wow...this is one of the best performances I've ever heard of this song. It's so heartfult and pure, and Celine does some wonderful ad-libs throughout the song. So gorgeous

 

(8) At Last..."At laaaaaaast....the great bootleg has come aloooooong" I liked this performance too...really nice ad-libs.

 

(9) Fever...A OK performance, wasn't that blown away by it.

 

(10) World on A String...Good performance and great ending note. One of the songs she should keep until the end.

 

(11) I Surrender...Best performance of the lot! Excellently done, and that note at the end is perfection!

 

(12) Pour Que Tu M'aimes Encore...good performance, a little draggy in some places but overall I like it.

(13) My Heart Will Go On...blech, I really don't enjoy the track for this. Celine sounds very clogged up and nasal on this, could've been re-recorded.

 

Since WAWW isn't a favorite of mine, I didn't download it right away but I might later and post my comments then.

 

Overall, a great show! I really enjoyed it, it is *almost* like being there. I'd like to know what automatic used to capture it in such great quality, as the others have been mostly crap. Now I'm on a Celine high for the rest of the day!

Oh, no, I don't think they could change AA. It is a classical neapolitan song. And I can't see any way of arranging it out of this. DWMF was R&B in the original rendition of Luther, that's why they made it R&B for Céline, too.
