I know many speaks more than one language here. So, which languages do you guys/gals speak and what's your native language? For me, my native language is Chinese. I speak Chinese and English, took Spanish in junio high school but forgot most of it :innocent: The next language I want to learn is French. Take a good guess as to why :xmas_wink:

We might kiss when we are alone... When nobody's watching... We might take it home... We might make out... When nobody's there... It's not that we're scared... It's just that it's delicate... We might live like never before... When there's nothing to give... Well how can we ask for more... We might make love in some sacred place... The look on your face is delicate

I think Chinese is the hardest language to learn to write, there's like over 50,000 characters. Correct me if I'm wrong. Dutch and German are very similar, right?

My native language is Finnish. I started studying English when I was 9, German when I was 11, Swedish when I was 13 and French when I was 14. I've also studied some Spanish, but so little, that I shouldn't even mention it. :msn-tongue:

I want to learn to speak French fluently, also I would love to study sign language, more Spanish, Danish, Russian...etc. I love languages!

My native language is French. :) I'm canadian bien sur. :) Although I was speaking English by the age of 3, as parts of my family married english speaking people and I had to communicate with my cousins. Not that I spoke English well at that time. lol Living in an English province makes it hard to keep up with the French though as the schools don't teach it properly. :( I also speak some Spanish that I learnt in Univerity. I did do a 2 month immersion course in Guatemala (in Xela) to learn it faster. I had a blast there. Unfortunately I don't speak it often so I'm loosing some of it. I read and understand it better then I can speak it, but I can certainly have conversations in it. :) And last but not least. I know a little tiny bit of German. I took it 2 years ago at Univeristy and I loved it. I still have my books and I should really look at it again because I've forgotten a lot.

So in all I'm fuent in French, English, Partly in Spanish and know a bit of German :)
