The awesome thing is that I got off from work early today and we're closed tomorrow for the storm. (After being closed between Christmas and New Year's. Today was like a funny little blip of working in the middle of a long vacation!) I would be jealous of those of you living in warmer climates, except that you never know the thrill of the unexpected day off that is a snow day! I just hope we don't lose power . . . 1

I found she interacted better with the audience and even brought some audience members on the stage with her. I´m waiting for next Shania´s dates. when I was there she actually brought an audience member on stage that was from Brazil. It kinda worked out great as well as she had a special guest that was from Brazil. She's famous in Brazil and was currently touring the USA. I'd love to get a snow day but it's very rare that it happens. Yeah, I think we get snow less often than you do in Canada, so people freak out about it more when it snows and things close. But they're even talking about closing the highways around me now, because last year a bunch of people abandoned their cars on the highway during a blizzard b/c it got so bad.

Now I feel like she sold out. she's got some great songs, but I also have to agree, she's not for me and I'd rather go see Celine. However, how many of you know that on New year's Rockin Eve, they did a top 30 greatest women in music count down? Shania came in in the early twenties, Rihanna, Adel and Alicia keys placed even ahead of that. Celine was number twenty freaking eight. I cannot tell you how very disappointed I was. And one of my friends in Ontario, Canada tells me that their station had a vote for Canada's Top song and it was between Shania and some group who obviously lacks originality/creativity as they call themselves "The Band." So Sad people's lack of appreciation for Celine. :/ Happy 2014 all, hope it's getting off to a great start for all.
