Bell Posted December 20, 2013 at 01:25 PM Posted December 20, 2013 at 01:25 PM all I have left to do is wrap gifts. I already did this. 16 YEARS A FORUM MEMBER
LuisMa Posted December 20, 2013 at 01:26 PM Posted December 20, 2013 at 01:26 PM Happy Friday for all indeed!! Del, it was time you showed up. 1
LuisMa Posted December 20, 2013 at 01:28 PM Posted December 20, 2013 at 01:28 PM I already did this. I loooove wrapping gifts. I remember once the university dean joked that I should teach an advanced course on gift-wrapping as she loved the way I did it. Must be the magical gay touch! 1
Lu CelineFan Posted December 20, 2013 at 02:56 PM Posted December 20, 2013 at 02:56 PM Was it good? I loved Alex and Sierra's audition, but I didn't follow the shows. I used to be a huge X Factor UK fan, but that stopped when Cheryl left. I saw bits and pieces this year, including the marvelous finale where Sam Bailey won. Next year I may follow American Idol, as I like the new panel of judges. Yes, it did. Good performances of Leona Lewis. Alex and Sierra won!!! 2 Team Céline Dion Brazil@lu_celinefan
LuisMa Posted December 20, 2013 at 03:02 PM Posted December 20, 2013 at 03:02 PM Good for them! They were really likeable. And it's about time that the X Factor US has a real selling star. 2

LuisMa Posted December 20, 2013 at 03:34 PM Posted December 20, 2013 at 03:34 PM Alex, because of our conversation last night, I'm craving GELATO. 1
sfbaysinger Posted December 20, 2013 at 04:47 PM Posted December 20, 2013 at 04:47 PM I was sooo excited when Alex and sierra won. And as for American Idol, I can't wait every year. LOL Not sure what the birds reference is in Overjoyed, but I usually skip that song and go right to Thankful because that's such a pretty song. Bell, thanks, and Adi, you're right, social and psychological problems are difficult too. I partly did want you to realize how good you have it, but also to know that I identify/relate. As far as getting ready for Xmas, may I say I hate the holidays but I have one more gift to get, for my 10-year-old cousin who looooooooves to draw, then I have that and 3 more gifts to wrap and I'm done. And I don't wrap gifts, cuz that's something else bline people royally suck at, I put them in gift bags, braille on the tag and hope some sighted person will print on it. Things I know most sighted people take for granted. :/ Oh yes, and UK XFactor, an FB friend of mine called Sam Bailey a British Celine. Not sure about that as I have not heard that contestant, but she was happy. and I was thrilled with the winner of The Voice. It's been an all around good week for singing competition shows. Happy Friday folks and thanks for all the support/kindness, Lu, Adi, Bell. and Del, hope you catch up on Celine week as it's being called. 3 L'immensite de mon amour pour Celine! LuisMa Posted December 20, 2013 at 04:56 PM Posted December 20, 2013 at 04:56 PM Christina, your Nick reminds me of Tara Kemp, who I loved in 91 and she was also a Singer from the San Francisco Bay Area.
sfbaysinger Posted December 20, 2013 at 06:28 PM Posted December 20, 2013 at 06:28 PM My username you mean? Cool. Never heard of her. Like I said, I'm not a singer anymore. No one wants to hear a blind chick sing, and I can prove it because I bet no one here can name one blind femal singer! But thanks for such a compliment, Luis! L'immensite de mon amour pour Celine! Lu CelineFan Posted December 20, 2013 at 06:54 PM Posted December 20, 2013 at 06:54 PM My username you mean? Cool. Never heard of her. Like I said, I'm not a singer anymore. No one wants to hear a blind chick sing, and I can prove it because I bet no one here can name one blind femal singer! But thanks for such a compliment, Luis! I´ve sent you an inbox about Pandora. People that don´t want to hear a blind singer are just stupid, because music we hear , don´t see. I think you should consider to come back singing. Here in Brazil we do have a blind female singer, her name is Katia. She used to be more famous in 80´s but she still sings. 2 Team Céline Dion Brazil@lu_celinefan

LuisMa Posted December 20, 2013 at 10:09 PM Posted December 20, 2013 at 10:09 PM Talking about The X Factor US, I so hated Emblem3's stint on the show and I hated them as I thought they were brats, but I love their singles. "Chloe (You're The One I Want)" is fab and so is their new single "3000 Miles".
DionFanAlways Posted December 20, 2013 at 10:15 PM Posted December 20, 2013 at 10:15 PM There needs to be a smiley face thingy for this ---> :shakemyhead: Pronto! 1 I have had the time of my life following this woman! Much love.
LuisMa Posted December 20, 2013 at 10:24 PM Posted December 20, 2013 at 10:24 PM Ask for it to Forum Santa. OMG I shouldn't have posted that ice cream cone in the Survivor thread. It looks so delicious.
DionFanAlways Posted December 20, 2013 at 10:27 PM Posted December 20, 2013 at 10:27 PM A smorgasbord of flavorful Celine ice cream! 1 I have had the time of my life following this woman! Much love.
LuisMa Posted December 20, 2013 at 10:29 PM Posted December 20, 2013 at 10:29 PM I bought a huge yogurt ice cream container, but it's so sour! I want ice cream now!!!
sfbaysinger Posted December 20, 2013 at 10:54 PM Posted December 20, 2013 at 10:54 PM How could you hate Emblem 3 they were amazing and are doing so well. Although if you ask me, the real winner from last season was Fifth Harmony. I follow them on FB and their career is just soaring/taking off. I thought they might not stay together after they placed third last year, but they did. I hope Restless Road, this year's more country-fied version of Emblem 3, does well. I even liked Sweet Suspense, the girl group Simon put together. I hope they stay together and do well. And, I am soooooooo thrilled Demi will be leaving X Factor. They just can't seem to find or keep good judges! Oooo, a Survivor thread? For the show, Survivor? Where? L'immensite de mon amour pour Celine! L'amour existe encore pour elle!
LuisMa Posted December 20, 2013 at 11:12 PM Posted December 20, 2013 at 11:12 PM I hated them but I love them now. No, it's a Survivor game thread, not a thread about the Survivor reality show. I have no idea of those groups you mention. Ask me anything about any American Idol contestant (minus the Ellen season) and I can tell you. Hehe
dj4celine Posted December 20, 2013 at 11:56 PM Posted December 20, 2013 at 11:56 PM I prefer the UK X Factor to the US one. I lost all interest in this year's contest once they chose Carlito. He's not good-looking, got a one octave range, sweats like a pig while performing and the sob story they tried to throw in about how he's trying to make it for his family. I mean, who isn't trying to make it for their family or themselves? Say something original, please! I liked Alex and Sierra when they did Toxic but after that, i never bothered to catch up on the show. Maybe I'll catch a few clips on youtube.
LuisMa Posted December 20, 2013 at 11:58 PM Posted December 20, 2013 at 11:58 PM @ sweats like a pig. I also prefer the UK show and the so many wonderful acts it has produced, including amazing Shayne Ward.
dj4celine Posted December 21, 2013 at 12:41 AM Posted December 21, 2013 at 12:41 AM Oh don't make me start on Shayne Ward. I could go on and on and on and it wouldn't still be enough. He's so damn fine!
LuisMa Posted December 21, 2013 at 12:42 AM Posted December 21, 2013 at 12:42 AM I actually thought of you when I created a video flashback of my chart yesterday and there were two Shayne songs there.
dj4celine Posted December 21, 2013 at 12:44 AM Posted December 21, 2013 at 12:44 AM I you for that amongst many other things
LuisMa Posted December 21, 2013 at 12:50 AM Posted December 21, 2013 at 12:50 AM I wonder what those are.
chocolatechip15 Posted December 21, 2013 at 02:17 AM Posted December 21, 2013 at 02:17 AM LOL Not sure what the birds reference is in Overjoyed There are little birdies chirping in the background in Overjoyed It's pretty subtle . .I didn't realize the birdie sounds were coming from the CD and not outside my window the first several times I listened to the song!
Del Posted December 21, 2013 at 01:44 PM Posted December 21, 2013 at 01:44 PM Happy Friday for all indeed!! Del, it was time you showed up. I have been absent most of the week haven't I? Instagram: @delphis78
