Belle Céline Posted August 31, 2010 at 09:04 PM Posted August 31, 2010 at 09:04 PM So my fifteen year old nephew texts me with "wtf?!" and I was like what? so he texts back telling me I "ruined" his dinner date with his girlfriend because my dad has to come pick me up. So what he can't wait fifteen, twenty minutes for my dad to come back home so he can drop him off? I swear if my dad starts chewing me out about this my dad could have dropped my nephew off and then came to get me. I could wait another ten minutes to go home “There’s nothing I love more than the romance of a night in the theater.”http://i39.tinypic.com/ws0due.png

But a meet and greet is way more exciting!

Where do you live again? We must be on same major tour schedule line or something.

ladylindsey Posted September 1, 2010 at 01:14 AM Posted September 1, 2010 at 01:14 AM Anyone ever glued and framed a puzzle? Team Céline sent me a cute little puzzle (you should have seen me immediately clear off the coffee table and not move until it was done ) and a Team Céline baseball cap for being the forum member of the month last month I got all of that this weekend, too- crazy Céline weekend in my mailbox. It's a cool photo and I want to frame it. I frame everything apparently. But I've never done it before and was just wondering if any of you have and what the best way to do it is?
Cheerfuljane Posted September 1, 2010 at 01:22 AM Posted September 1, 2010 at 01:22 AM Geek Squad told me to not hibernate it, just to turn it off or sleep it. My cousin a comp tech said hibernating it is bad on the computer anyway like its hard on it. He also told me just to use sleep or turn it off. How long is to long on sleep? Did they say? I usually don't have my computer off for more than an two hours maybe three at the most if I can't get back home to turn it on if I'm out somewhere. They said 2 hours.I don't even know what the difference is between hibernate and sleep What a day... The most dreaded day in any person's live and it is finally over. Thank God! I'm so tired and everything hurts. Can't believe that something like that can be so exhausting... What did ya do?

I have so many things I want framed, but I thought it was really expensive to do so! And I'm not much of a carpenter to just nail some wood together and DIM.
J-Man Posted September 1, 2010 at 01:32 AM Posted September 1, 2010 at 01:32 AM (edited) I would imagine the easiest way would be to buy the right sized frame and then once you have completed the jigsaw place something on top of it, like a table mat or maybe the glass from the frame. Then carefully turn it over so the back is revealed. Then get a can of spray mount, easily available from most art supply shops, and spray either the back of the jigsaw or, ideally, the back board from the frame, and press them both together. Should dry pretty fast, but still take care until you have placed the whole lot into the frame and clipped it closed. I think that would be the easiest way. ladylindsey Posted September 1, 2010 at 01:52 AM Posted September 1, 2010 at 01:52 AM Here they are! It's about 13" x 19"- 120 pieces! Took me awhile with all the audience members Haha I remember saying, "man I wish they would send me an autograph something" and then 2 days later I get an autograph in the mail...what the dion. J-man- I forgot about spray mount- that would prob be best. Merci! I get my frames mostly from Michael's craft stores. You can sign up for a free email circular. They send me a 40% coupon (sometimes 45%) every week in my email, so I wait and use one a week or so if I have a project. When I got the black frames for my LPs, they were buy one get one free- so that saved a lot of money! They have hard to find frame sizes, too.
Edwin Posted September 1, 2010 at 01:58 AM Posted September 1, 2010 at 01:58 AM Wow, that's really cool. You must be floating right now with all the Celine-ness! Hmm oke, I think we do have a Michael's here. I always thought they were a garden shop tho, lol. Didn't ever know what it was. Will look into it later. Thanks for the tip.

Belle Céline Posted September 1, 2010 at 02:22 AM Posted September 1, 2010 at 02:22 AM Cheerful Jane, sleep mode just puts it in a lower power state and you can resume much quicker when you turn it back on. Hibernate shuts the computer off and saves your current session, like any programs you have up, internet pages, etc and brings it all back up. “There’s nothing I love more than the romance of a night in the theater.”http://i39.tinypic.com/ws0due.png
Koolan Posted September 1, 2010 at 02:26 AM Author Posted September 1, 2010 at 02:26 AM which city is that concert from? I hope your dog don't chew it up. I have a lot of things to frame. And it says LTAL world tour at the bottom, but isn't it FIY tour? haha Roxy better not chew it up! and yes! NYC haha okkk my pic isn't working so well- but if you go to their website and type your zip, you can find it www.michaels.com or I could just do this- takes only a sec. Belle Céline Posted September 1, 2010 at 02:54 AM Posted September 1, 2010 at 02:54 AM it didn't show anything when I put in New York guess I didn't do it right? I thought I did. Maybe the radius for how close it was, wasn't far enough. “There’s nothing I love more than the romance of a night in the theater.”http://i39.tinypic.com/ws0due.png

Belle Céline Posted September 1, 2010 at 03:49 AM Posted September 1, 2010 at 03:49 AM I know but I'm afraid to hibernate it because this has happened twice now, well more if you count when it happened the first time and I tried to do the system resume a couple times before giving up on it working. Luckily it fixed itself some how the first time and I'm afraid next time something serious will happen and my computer will be done for. This time I deleted the restoration data from the session it couldn't resume after I brought it out of hibernate. I'm just going to turn it off at night when I go to bed and sleep it during the day like geek squad and my cousin said to do. “There’s nothing I love more than the romance of a night in the theater.”http://i39.tinypic.com/ws0due.png
Edwin Posted September 1, 2010 at 03:51 AM Posted September 1, 2010 at 03:51 AM I think some need to learn to use the Venting thread. I agree. I almost caught myself just now but headed over to that thread and griped there. Wish more people would follow suit. Or else I'm gonna add to my ignore. Only so many times I can come in here to see the same person vent. It's like take a break please.
loveyouceline Posted September 1, 2010 at 03:57 AM Posted September 1, 2010 at 03:57 AM Now I'm sitting in front of my table and thinking about something to write a letter to Celine. Acacia Posted September 1, 2010 at 03:58 AM Posted September 1, 2010 at 03:58 AM (edited) I love the puzzle, Lindsey! I gotta get me one, guess I need to start positing on TC's message board. Geek Squad told me to not hibernate it, just to turn it off or sleep it. My cousin a comp tech said hibernating it is bad on the computer anyway like its hard on it. He also told me just to use sleep or turn it off. How long is to long on sleep? Did they say? I usually don't have my computer off for more than an two hours maybe three at the most if I can't get back home to turn it on if I'm out somewhere. hell, i've done more than 3 hours before on sleep. i just shut the lid and go off to do stuff. and i always hibernate. i cant be bothered to shut it down cuz sometimes i have a lot of things open and its a hassle to find them all again I always do that too, just shut the lid and do other stuff. Every once in awhile I've gone to bed forgetting to turn the computer off and the next morning it's fine. I'm kind of surprised to hear that hibernating would be bad for the computer, but I have no reason to doubt them. Now I'm sitting in front of my table and thinking about something to write a letter to Celine. But nothing special come out. How could I do?? Please give me some advice?? Should I continue or should I stop at the moment?? I would definitely keep going! Doesn't have to be spectacular, just spoken from the heart because that's what matters! Edited September 1, 2010 at 04:01 AM by Acacia http://oi52.tinypic.com/2aaavxd.jpg ♥ Thank you, Céline for giving me the greatest birthday I could ask for! ♥
Krys Posted September 1, 2010 at 04:01 AM Posted September 1, 2010 at 04:01 AM (edited) Eddie: yesh. vents belong in the Venting thread Acacia: i know if you dont reboot every now and then, the computer's gonna lag. but other than that, i havent had any serious problems with sleep/hibernating final stretch before holiday! huhuhuhu 2 more weeks. well less than that. and a bunch of graphic novels on the way Edited September 1, 2010 at 04:03 AM by Krys
Edwin Posted September 1, 2010 at 04:03 AM Posted September 1, 2010 at 04:03 AM Gonna just start moving them after a while. It's a more specific, appropriate topic for them.
