I tried the 5/6 on and they were to tight so I thought the 7/8's would be fine so I just grabbed them and bought em. Urgh oh well I need to lose a few pounds anyway and put the rec center to campus to use. I had to pay 200 dollars for it so I have to use it.

So this weekend we have a 90s weekend on one of our stations and I decided to check out what the have on the playlist thinking that there must be some big Celine songs on there. What do they have: ''Think Twice''. I mean come on, where the hell is ''It's All Coming Back To Me Now'', 'Because You Loved Me'', ''Beauty and the Beast'' and ''My Heart Will Go On''? Those are epic Celine songs and probably some of the biggets songs from the 90s! I'm dissapointed in them, usually when they have these themed weekends and it is applicable to Celine they have loads of her songs on the list.

What a machine.

 

It's my first Mac so it may be a decent one I first thought about a Mac Pro but that would have set me back at least 5.000 USD while this iMac does only cost about 3.400 USD...

Anyway, since it's meant to edit photo's and make movies I needed a decent machine, my "old" one, an Windows Vista based Core 2 Duo with 4Gb Ram, 800Gb HDD and a 1Gb ATI videocard and a very expensive soundblaster card but it was just not the right computer, I had it for about 2 years and I've used it maybe 10 or 20 times during those years, it was standing there collecting dust and I really wanted a decent desktop setting so I went for my first Mac... The old desktop pc will probably get a second life as a file server with upgraded harddisks and an other OS or maybe I just sell it...

 

If this works fine I'll think about replacing my other computer and laptops with Macs...

A file server or a media center would be a nice choice.

Vista is terrible. Swap it for Windows 7.
