anyone know what could cause a computer to mess up when it tries to come out of hibernation? I went to get on this morning and I'd hibernated my computer last night and went to bed and it came up and said it wasn't able to restore my session, well I turned it off and tried again the same thing came up so I deleted the restoration data like it said because resuming the system didn't work. After I deleted the restoration data it wanted to check my disc C so I let it and it fixed an error on it, I have no idea what it was because it was just a bunch of letters and numbers. After that was done it restarted and worked fine. I'm worried now, this happened in May and I almost lost my final paper that was like six pages long, thankfully after a day the computer worked without me doing anything.

 

I'm not sure if I should call Toshiba again, because I just sent my computer to them to be fixed a couple months ago, and this isn't really a hardware problem and I don't think it's a software problem which was causing all my problems before plus a faulty key. My cousin who is a computer tech said to not hibernate it because that is hard on the computer, just to sleep it and let him know what happens. He hasn't told me to call Toshiba yet.

 

Anyone else had this problem?

I know, Vista sucks and the moment my Mac arrived I'll format the old one and use Wintendo XP again... I'm using Wintendo 7 on my Sony Vaio laptop but even though it's multiple times better then Wintendo Vista it can't tip to XP, so It will be back to XP or even 2K again...

I don't know, someone very sick. they said the video might have been made in Croatia and people on Facebook think they found the girl and the guy who did this. I hope the police or ASPCA are doing something about this. It's sickening.

I had the same issues. I called Toshiba and they said I should switch it off every night and not let it sleep for long periods.

I also called Best Buy and they said the same things.

Geek Squad told me to not hibernate it, just to turn it off or sleep it. My cousin a comp tech said hibernating it is bad on the computer anyway like its hard on it. He also told me just to use sleep or turn it off. How long is to long on sleep? Did they say? I usually don't have my computer off for more than an two hours maybe three at the most if I can't get back home to turn it on if I'm out somewhere.

FML I spilled pizza sauce all over my new Aeropostale pants a bit ago. The damn cup of sauce fell out of the box and splattered all over my pants and laptop case, thankfully it didn't get on my white shirt or Louis Vuitton purse. I bought a Tide stain stick at the book store and drenched the spots in it. I really, really hope it comes out. I can't get home to wash my jeans till 7 at least and it's just now 3 >.< ugh. Oh and get this a lady in the cafeteria said this happens all the time, umm hello why don't you put an end on the box of breadsticks so the sauce DOESN'T slide out? hmm?
