I thought all the actors did a solid job. Russell did better than I expected, and Priyanka really exceeded my expectations. I thought Sam's performance was good, if anything it fit his character as a somewhat awkward, bumbling dude

I mentioned it in my review, but if anything I feel like the movie needed *more* Celine.

My dream for Celine would be for her to land a grand dramatic role (a period movie imo), something meaty for her to play with. Now that she officially got the feature film debut we can start dreaming of a better role.

But first her health. As someone said, when (🤞🤞) she feels better maybe acting/albums is something she can manage. If she isn't capable of going back to performing live.

No offense to Heughan and Jonas, perfectly acceptable leads for a paint-by-numbers Hallmark special, but one can’t help but think we missed the chance to see a great artist find herself — and soar.”

It’s pretty clear people want to see more of her on the big screen. I just hope she gets better material. But I completely understand why this appealed to her - she has said in interviews, years after Rene passed - that she still talks to him. So she clearly identified with the story.

Just got home from watching the movie. First of all I  was surprised with the number of people in the theatre. It was rather full. The story is so nice. Celine of course stole the show.Just her presence steals the scene.As usual hearing her talk about Rene is very touching. It's obvious to see that no matter what happens in her life,he will always be the love of her life. As I see it the movie was an homage to Celine and Rene. I loved how the old and new songs  were mixed together.Certainly worth watching.

I want that shirt. Never had the chance to see the show since I was still young that time and I remember the A New Day era was the start of me collecting all the albums of Céline.

And this was my first DVD and my first time seeing Céline perform in concert. Maybe that’s why I think I like Big Prods  because of A New Day.

Just back from the cinema and today it was sold out and at the end everyone was singing to the last section of my movie and then cheered and clapped and 90% of people stayed in there seats until after the credits finished.

How much the movie need to make at the box office worldwide to break even? I'd say at least 10 million $ considering the movie has a budget of 9 million $, any thoughts on that?

On its second week, the film is down 2 spots to No. 8 and earned 1.58 million over the weekend. Total in America is now at 5 million.

Yes!!! The Numbers is very accurate, I'm glad the movie already surpassed the 7.5 million $ mark, all it need now is to earn a few millions and it won't be considered a box office flop.

So inching closer to 9 million, although as a rule of thumb, with marketing around 30 tp 50 percent on top of the production cost, the film needs at least 12 to 14 million before it can earn a profit.

I will celebrate once it hits the $10m mark! Anything close to doubling the budget, which is realistic I believe, should classify the film as a success.

It has gotten released. I watched it on Friday, Saturday and Sunday! There's only one show (7 p.m.) in each movie theater and there are 3 theaters showing it in my city, Chennai. Saturday and Sunday the occupancy was pretty good, at least 80%. I'm hoping it can survive the week.

IACBTMN is featured in many scenes and we also get bits from WDMHBN, ABM, ANDHC and Courage. TTWII is also incorporated and there are references to I'm Alive and When I Fall In Love. Adding the 5 new songs to that further solidified how Celine is a lot more than just MHWGO.

I loved that too. I’d suppose they couldn’t use MHWGO and BYLM because they were already in a movie… but I’m glad because we know if they could’ve used MHWGO they would’ve… I like the songs they chose.
