$11.1m according to Box Office Mojo and The Numbers.
It was higher budget than LA though - more than double, if the publicly available numbers are to be trusted.

The movie "Aline" was sold worldwide from the USA to Australia, and so far is doing very well on Streaming Platforms and on Pay per view channels like CANAL+

Starting from Xmas 2023, it will be available for Broadcast on Mainstream channels like TF1

That's on how the movie is overall a success, not only as  per the Box Office incomes, but especially for the long term copyrights  revenues as per TV broadcasting

Yes, I'm aware. But the total revenues from streaming, broadcast rights, etc... those are numbers that are very hard to come by, if I'm not mistaken. Anyway, I'm very thankful for Aline and for Valerie Lemercier.

I'm not one of those fans who thinks it's that important per se whether a project does well commercially.

The production budget is separate from the promotional budget though. Maybe the 20 mil includes the promotion?

I watched again that movie recently, I found it very intelligent, Valérie had put here and there on the movie some interesting psychological analysis facts about Céline,a nd I really felt that she respects Céline a lot

I just got home from watching Love Again for the 4th time. Unfortunately this was the last show for the movie in my city, Chennai, India.
But something sweet happened. I bumped into a family that had come to watch the film because I've been constantly posting about it on social media!

They were like, "We literally booked tickets because your posts and stories piqued our interest!"



I can't wait for the movie to be out on Blu-ray and hopefully on streaming on Netflix, where I think, it will have a successful journey.

So it's out today in The Netherlands.
Just got out of the cinema, there were like 30 people which is quite normal for these movies.

The movie was okay as expected.
Sam is so painfully awkward to watch, he made the movie more cringe with his acting skills.

Celine was celine as she always is in English.
But man what a awful lot of filters they used on her face on some scenes.
The one where she was meeting Mira, was the only scene where they didn't and looked natural beautiful.

Priyanka was fun to watch.

Also made me a little bit sad knowing how Celine's health changed everything.
Seeing her perform IACBTMN, makes me miss her so much!

2 week box office update...

So far, "Love Again" has spent it's entire first two weeks in the U.S. box office top 10    true, it hasn't grossed a lot of money, but I wouldn't call that a flop
U.S. Box office gross by the end of yesterday was at more than 5.5 million. The movie keeps slowing increasing it's gross and there's been 4 separate days where it's daily gross increased from the day before!  Hoping the movie stays at the U.S. Box office at least through June 5th, so it can have a full month to be enjoyed and to keep increasing it's overall U.S. gross

It’s already out of the cinemas here at all 4 of my local movie theaters. The last day they showed it was Thursday 5/18/23. They are even still showing ( although down to 3x a day only) “Are you there god, it’s me Margaret” which released a week or two earlier that LA.

I wonder if it will be streaming before Celine makes an announcement about the tour - because that will get a lot of attention and potentially overshadow anything else. Or maybe it will help, who knows.

I was on holiday in London last week, got to see the movie there since it's not in cinemas yet in Germany. I absolutely adored the film. I'll watch it again when it comes to the german cinemas and defenitely again after that. I simply loved it and I'm so happy about this whole project. It's really a great gift to all of us

I went to see the movie today, i maybe late, but it was awesome! The theatre was completely packed with people of all ages, ajd i was surprised when people laughed at Celine's jokes for people don't know her here in my country that well. But overall, everyone had a blast.
