Went to see the film this morning. Wasn't quite sure what to expect, but was very pleasantly surprised. A very nice film with Celine on form and perfect for the story.

No, its really available. I bought it and watched it at home on may 23 even if the movie is still at the theater of my city right now.

Since Covid, you can rent or buy many movies even if they are in theater.

I don't know whether this was posted previously or not, but I totally agree with their review. They pointed out some scenes that really were detrimental (like Rob, the writer, being speechless when he gets busted).  On paper, this had a lot of potential, but they got more things wrong than right. Céline deserved better IMO.

Maybe because it's her biggest French hit and the point of them playing it was so that everyone would be singing along... since they don't all know the words for a 7 minute song in English?

No, it was only a fantastic karaoke moment before to enjoy the movie. Yesterday there was the party premiere of the movie in Paris.

So now that the movie is finally released in France and all the intended markets (I think…maybe not Asia yet)…what’s the box office score this week? I’m assuming we don’t know streaming/on demand purchases either.

This film did well. It actually gave a good comeback answer to critics saying that it won't gross.

You're all ignoring distributors' cuts and the P&A budget.  With those factored in, the movie's only barely made back its budget.  It won't end up making a loss, and it will still make more money through international markets and ancillary channels (home video, streaming, etc.), but barring some amazing success to come, it certainly won't be seen as a success by the studio.

The general rule is that the box office amount needs to be 2.5 times the budget spent in order to break even. According to Wikipedia the budget was 9 million. So it would need over 22 million to even break even. Then anything over that is profit.
